UKSPF Creative Digital and Media Employability Programme-Barnsley Council has commission a provider who will supply a 12-session learning programme focusing on employability and preparing participants for work using the Creative Media industry as a template. It is envisaged that up to 10 participants will be on programme at once with enrolment being a rolling programme over the lifespan of the commission. It is envisaged that the programme will support up to 50 participants over its lifetime.

Provision of of a Youth Activity Park-The Council is looking to provide a Youth Activity Park, located at the Eastern Gateway development in Barnsley town centre. The project comprises of the creation of an activity park on a large area, approximately 12,500 m2 / 3 acres. The current plan includes a large, combined BMX and skate bowl, pump track, a parkour area and jump section. The park will include provision for benches, covered / shaded areas and will involve boundary treatments particularly around adjacent properties.
