Home Support Immediate Response-Re-ablement services currently form part of the councils in house provider services offer. The service is offered to service users who require a period of support to regain independent living skills following a period of ill health, injury or hospital admission. The service forms a key part of the hospital discharge process ensuring those people medically fit for discharge can be supported at home and avoiding delayed discharges.

Smoking in Pregnancy Services-The incumbent, Barnsley Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (BHNFT) smoking in pregnancy service is available to support pregnant women and their families who wish to stop smoking. They offer advice and information on a wider range of issues, some of which are complex, to enable pregnant women to be ready to consider stopping smoking and setting a quit date.
