The Audit Board of Suomussalmi Municipality requests audit firms to audit the administration and finances of the municipality for the financial years 2025–2028 in accordance with Chapter 14 of the Local Government Act (410/2015).

The Municipalities of Suomussalmi and Hyrynsalmi Request a Bid for the Preparation of Non-Individualized Site and General Plans, as Well as Plan Amendments and Related Studies, and Other Planning Tasks Serving Land Use for the Years 2025–2027. In addition to the Contract Period, a Possible Option for the Years 2028–2029 (1+1).

The contract includes the construction of two new bridges, the Rästinpuro Bridge (steel pipe) and the Varisjoki Bridge (steel concrete precast slab bridge, BLE II). The sites are located approximately 12 km from the Suomussalmi Municipal Center, in the vicinity of the Aittokoski Power Plant. The Rästinpuro Bridge crosses the Rästipuro River, which flows into the Emäjoki River from the north, and the Varisjoki Bridge crosses the Varisjoki River, which flows into the Emäjoki River from the north.

The contract includes the complete demolition of Suomussalmi High School, located in Suomussalmi.

The project involves converting the turf of the Ruukinkangas Sports Field in the Municipality of Suomussalmi into artificial turf.

The paving work will be carried out as a unit-priced overall contract. One contractor will be selected to perform the work. The tender must be based on the requirements given in the tender documents. The quantities stated in the tender are estimates and the contract does not constitute an obligation for the customer to purchase a specific quantity, and changes in quantities will not affect the unit prices (exception Yse 1998, Section 45). The targets are 3 streets to be resurfaced in the centre of Suomussalmi.
