this Is A Sources Sought Notice (ssn) Announcement. Ssns Are Issued To Assist The Agency In Performing Market Research To Determine Industry Interest And Capability. 5.0 Purpose
in Accordance With (iaw) Federal Acquisition Regulation (far) Part 10, Ssp Is Conducting Market Research To Determine If Sources Are Capable Of Successfully Performing The Requirements Identified In This Ssn. Specifically, Ssp Is Seeking Capable Firms For Engineering And Technical Services With An Emphasis On Navy Reentry Bodies (rb) Vulnerability And Performance, Systems Analysis And Effectiveness, Nuclear Weapons Surety And System Safety, Radiological Health And Radiation Control, And Future Navy Program Development As Cited In Paragraph 8.0 Below.
the Contract Type Will Include Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Level Of Effort, Term Contract Line Item Numbers (clins). The Period Of Performance (pop) Will Include A Fy26 Effort From 1 October 2025 – 30 September 2026.

Details: The Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research EV (PIK for short) is planning to renovate and expand the attic in building A26 on Telegrafenberg in Potsdam. As a preparatory measure for the expansion, the electrical installation must be re-laid and dismantled/disposed of. Kg 457 Transmission networks: In preparation for the roof extension, the application-neutral data network must be upgraded by relocating the central data distributor. Because construction work is being carried out during ongoing operations, a new data infrastructure must be set up in parallel. A new data distributor room including the data racks must be built and put into operation in the basement. The corresponding data network at the workstations with the RJ45 jacks will be used provisionally without an up- or AP socket. Only then can the central data distributor in the attic be dismantled.
