Details: From March 2020 The Council Is Entering Into A Dynamic Purchasing System (‘dps’) Contract For The Following Under Regulation 34 Of The Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The Purpose Of This Dps Is To Enable The Council To Identify And Establish A Pool Of Suitable Suppliers For The Provision Of The Services. The Council Will Then Undertake ‘dps Tenders’ When Specific Requirements Have Been Identified And Arrange Transport Contracts With The Suppliers Included Within The Dps. It Must Be Noted That The Council Will Reserve The Right To Award Contracts For These Services Outside Of The Dps Contract Where It Considers It Appropriate To Do So. It Is Intended That The Dps Itself Will Last For 10 Years Though The Individual Contracts Awarded Under It May Exceed The Length Of The Dps Contract. The Council Intends To Award The Majority Of Its Passenger Transport Contracts Which Fall Into This Criteria Through The Dps. The Dynamic Purchasing System Is Divided Into The Following Categories: • Category 1: Specialist Short Notice Transport (cars) • Category 2: Mainstream Short Notice Transport (cars) • Category 3: Specialist Long Term Transport (cars) • Category 4: Specialist Psv Transport (psv) • Category 5: Mainstream Long Term Transport (cars) • Category 6: Mainstream Psv Transport (psv) • Category 7: Public Transport Services (psv) Potential Providers Can Apply To Join The Dps At Any Time During The Ten Year Contract Duration But Must Satisfy The Criteria Set Out In Document 1 Summary Of The Requirement And Instructions To Potential Providers And Document 2 Application For Inclusion On A Dynamic Purchasing System In Order To Gain A Place On The Dps. Once On The Dps A Supplier Will Be Invited To All Opportunities For Any Category (s) Which That Supplier Has Successfully Joined The Dps For By Way Of Dps Tenders. 2. To Provide Parents Or Carers A Break From Caring, Enabling Them To Have Time To Undertake Whatever They Would Like To Do, Such As Leisure Activities, Day-to-day Tasks, Spending Time With Other Family Members Or Education/training Opportunities.
east Riding Of Yorkshire Council Has A Statutory Duty Under Paragraph 6(1)(c) Of Schedule 2 To The 1989 Children Act, To Provide A Range Of Services Which Is Sufficient To Assist Carers To Continue To Provide Care Or To Do So More Effectively. In Particular, The Local Authority Must Provide, As Appropriate, A Range Of -
(a) Day-time Care In The Homes Of Disabled Children Or Elsewhere,
(b) Overnight Care In The Homes Of Disabled Children Or Elsewhere.
(c) Educational Or Leisure Activities For Disabled Children Outside Their Homes, And
(d) Services Available To Assist Carers In The Evenings, At Weekends And During The School Holidays.

Details: The City Of Wolverhampton Council Is Seeking To Contract With A Number Of Providers For The Provision Of New Domiciliary Care Services For Older People And Adults With Disabilities. The Specification Has Three Main Service Elements; Domicilary Care, Rapid Response, And Home-based Respite For Carers. Providers Are Expected To Be Able To Deliver All These Elements, However, Where This Is Not Possible Providers Will Still Be Able To Join The Framework On A Limited Basis. The Council Will Operate A Flexible Framework With Three Tiers Of Provider, And A Mix Of Area Based 'lead' Provider And City Wide Coverage. Inclusion On The Framework Will Also Provide Occasional Access To Related Special Projects, Pilots, And Help Commissioners Reduce 'spot' Purchases. The Framework Is Dynamic And Will Periodically Open To Allow New Providers To Join, And For Existing Providers To Amend Their Service Offer. Providers Will Have The Potential Of Moving Between The Three Tiers. Minimum Selection Criteria Will Apply And This Will Include A Cqc Overall Rating Higher Than 'inadequate'. Light Touch Regime: The Subject Matter Of This Procurement Process Relates To The Delivery Of Services Which Are Listed To In Chapter 3, Section 7 To The Pcr 2015 Regulations. As Such The Full Regime Set Out In The Regulations Will Not Apply To The Award Of The Framework Contracts.
