description: The Contract Is Part Of The Project "promotion Of Digital Transformation (digital-y)" In Mauritania, Which Is Mandated By The German Federal Ministry For Economic Cooperation And Development (bmz) And Implemented By The Deutsche Gesellschaft Für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (giz) From 2024 Till 2027. The Project Financial Volume Is Up To 4 Million Eur. The Digital Transformation Of The Mauritanian State, Economy And Society Has Significantly Advanced In Recent Years Thanks To Massive Investments In The Digital Infrastructure And A Very Innovative Digital Ecosystem. However, Public Digital Initiatives Are Not Yet Fully Harmonized And Inclusive And Locally Developed Solutions Not Fully Exploited. The Overall Objective Of Digital-y Is To Improve Mauritania"s Digital Transformation In Terms Of Coherence, Inclusion And Innovation. To This End, Digital-y Supports Mauritania In Three Core Areas: Managing The Digitalisation In A Consistent Way By Setting Common Standards And Making Public Services Through Digital Solutions More Accessible To Citizens (egovernment); Building Competences Of Key Private And Public Actors To Develop User-friendly Inclusive Digital Solutions (ecapacities); And Promoting Inclusively An Innovative Digital Ecosystem (eentrepreneurship).
