The tender includes Danish language training for adult foreigners, which the contracting authority is obliged to offer pursuant to the Danish Language Training for Adult Foreigners Act (lbk No. 1372 of 22/09/2022) – referred to as the “Danish Language Training Act”. The contract is a 4-year agreement. The contract enters into force on 1 January 2026 and expires on 31 December 2029. The contracting authority has the option of extending the agreement for up to 2 x 12 months. If the option is exercised, the contract will be extended on unchanged terms. If the option is not exercised, the contract will automatically expire on the expiry date. The contracting authority must, in accordance with the Danish Language Training Act No. 1372 of 22/09/2022 and subsequent amendments, latest with the incorporation of amendments to Act No. 1760 of 30 December 2024 on Danish Education for Adult Foreigners, etc. (after Consolidation Act 1372) and Executive Order No. 1760 of 30 December 2024 on Danish Education for Adult Foreigners, etc. (hereinafter Executive Order 1760) Offer citizens residing in the contracting authority Danish education. To the extent that the provider deems it academically or pedagogically appropriate, the Danish education can be organized with joint education courses across modules, for example the youth area. The Tenderer is obliged to establish suitable educational institution(s) on Bornholm.
