The framework agreement offered includes elastomeric pumps. By elastomeric pumps is meant a break-proof container that contains a balloon reservoir made of an elastomeric membrane that creates infusion pressure as a driving force, where the patient is supplied with the medicine evenly during the period it takes for the membrane to contract. The pumps are independent of other medical equipment or electricity. The elastomeric pumps are used for chemotherapy, pain and antibiotic treatment. Amgros is responsible for the tender of elastomeric pumps on behalf of the regions, so that purchases can be made for the hospitals in the regions. Amgros is an interest with the 5 regions as stakeholders. The tender is carried out by Amgros I/s on behalf of the Region of North Denmark, the Region of Southern Denmark, the Region of Zealand, the Capital Region and - as an option - the Region of Central Denmark. Amgros is thus the leader of the tender procedure itself. The tender includes a mandatory range of elastomeric pumps and a voluntary range of pumps, which the tenderer may choose to tender for. In addition, the tender includes accessories in the form of carrying bags/belts. The tender is divided into three sub-agreements. - Sub-agreement A: Elastomeric pumps for all medicines for the Region of North Denmark, Southern Denmark and Zealand. - Sub-agreement B: Elastomeric pumps for cytostatics for the Capital Region and the Central Denmark Region. - Sub-agreement C: Elastomeric pumps for medicines other than cytostatics for the Capital Region and the Central Denmark Region. A framework agreement is entered into with each of the participating regions, which gives the region the opportunity to make purchases under the framework agreement. The region does not undertake to purchase a specific quantity of pumps or to make purchases for a specific amount on the basis of the framework agreement. The maximum number of pumps that can be purchased under the framework agreements under each sub-agreement is as follows: - Sub-agreement A: 132,500 - Sub-agreement B: 48,400 and - Sub-agreement C: 155,700. The number is set at a higher number of pumps than the number that forms the basis for the estimated number stated under Sub-agreements A, B and C, taking into account that the number of pumps may possibly be increased significantly in relation to the current and estimated future consumption in the event of any changed or new use of pumps during the term of the framework agreement. Any decision on the extension of the framework agreements will be made taking into account that the maximum quantity is not exceeded.
