The provision of general 10KV Medium Voltage (MV) substation (the term substation shall include any MV equipment i.e. main 10KV board and other switching stations with or without power transformers) maintenance in accordance with original manufacturer standards, BS6626 1985 or international equivalent, covering MV switchgear, power transformers, protection devices and all associated trip mechanisms and repair of damaged underground or above ground cabling etc. The services shall also include maintenance of main board incoming LV circuit-breaker, power-factor correction equipment, harmonic filtering equipment, local lighting, emergency lighting and general services within the strict confines of the following UCD 10KV Substations and associated main 400v LV switchboards listed in Appendix 5 UCD 10kV Substations.

This competition is to fulfill current Customer and Support Services requirements in UCD Estates Services and UCD Library, as well as any future requirements throughout the University identified during the term of any Services Contract awarded. UCD requires a Contractor to provide structured energy management services to support the UCD Energy and Water management team in improving and enhancing energy and carbon reduction activities as well as maintaining the necessary compliance with legislation including the Climate Action and Low Carbon Development (Amendment) Act 2021. Also required by the Contractor are hands on energy support services in relation to HVAC and BMS audits, Energy Efficient Design (EED) and energy efficient mechanical design services, base-load investigations and other technical energy and carbon dioxide related investigations. Maintenance and operational management services are also required with respect to the Blackrock Campus and Newman House and technical assistance and energy oversight within the student residences.

This Invitation to Tender document, this contract concerns the provision and installation of a stage engineering, lighting and audio-visual equipment for UCD College of Arts and Humanities. This contract is part of a larger project of creating a Black Box Studio as described in Schedule A of the tender documents and the successful tenderer will be expected to liaise with and be part of the larger multi-disciplinary team in delivering the project.

The contracting authority would like to invite tenders for the supply, implementation, and support of a Booking and Property Management System (BPMS). This system is envisaged as being a next generation platform and will facilitate the contracting authority in realising potential efficiencies in workflows and processes in its existing Residences business models, alongside opening access to new market segments and revenue streams. The new system will allow enhanced functionality for system users, including the contracting authority and customers, and provide increased market visibility to a range of customer groups. The contracting authority requires a system which will efficiently manage the residences expanding campus residence portfolio through alternating business models, both sequentially and concurrently, while also extending the reach of the contracting authority's existing commercial business model via OTA and direct website bookings.
