Revision of Natural Englands Historic Parkland Handbook-An 'Historic Parkland Handbook', developed in-house, underpins our parkland work and advice - though remains in draft. It was based on the Natural England commissioned Defra-funded project undertaken by Cookson & Tickner 2013. Associated with this handbook is the 'Historic Parkland Prioritisation Assessment' and a template brief for commissioning Parkland Management Plans. These all require revision to reflect changing priorities, e.g. climate change, tree disease, etc.

Literature review falconry and wild take-Provide a literature review on the traditional practices of falconry, within a European context. The review should establish whether wild take is explicitly discussed by authors as forming an integral part of the activity of falconry.

Peat for the Planet Green Finance-To gain a greater understanding of the hydrological functioning of peatland across the north Shropshire project area, highlighting opportunities for restoring and connecting peatland habitats, increasing carbon sequestration and storage, reducing flood risk and providing greater landscape resilience to climate change.
