Repairs required to the remove the associated risk of structural collapse and harm to the public. Works to include the installation of a waterproofing scheme to minimise further deterioration and provide 25-year major maintenance free period

HRE - RLB/1 - Riddings Viaduct-Structure RLB/1 'Riddings Viaduct' is a skewed nine-span masonry arch viaduct comprising ashlar stone arch barrels supported by stone piers and abutments. The spandrels, parapets and wingwalls are constructed from a similar grade of stone. The parapets are topped with concrete coping blocks and railings. Previous patch repairs to the structure have been carried out in brick.

HRE - PJM/8 Clifton Hall Tunnel-PJM/8 - Clifton Hall Tunnel, is situated in Swinton, Greater Manchester on the disused branch line that linked Patricroft with Molyneux Junction. The tunnel passes predominantly under residential housing and parkland aligned in a south-west to north-east direction. The double track tunnel, originally constructed in 1846, is 1187m long and lined with brick throughout. There are eight construction (blind) shafts along the length of the tunnel.
