C0035 Operations South East Interim Quantity Surveying Services-The Operational Commercial Delivery team require the support of 6 FTE NR Quantity Surveyors to support projects from National Highways Areas 3 and 4 for 6 months, with the option to extend for a further three (3), twelve (12) month periods (subject to budgetary approval and performance).

T0414b TETI0037 Measurement of emissions from brake and tyre wear (Phase 2b)-As part of the Government's commitment to decarbonise transport and improve air quality, the Department for Transport (DfT) is looking to set up a contract for provision of technical consultancy services to fill the knowledge gaps for brake and tyre wear emissions (non-exhaust emissions), and develop recommendations on how to better assess and control these emissions which will persist after a transition to zero tailpipe emission vehicles.

The requirement is to address perceived safety concerns at the Switch Island intersect between the M57 and A5036 at two conflict areas. Using Jenoptik average speed cameras and speed on green (red-light and spot speed) enforcement to mitigate the issues identified.
