The main design for the construction of the new elementary School "Vladimir Nazor" in Podgorica was prepared in line with the needs of the investors: the Ministry of Education, Montenegro. The building is located on flat, irregularly shaped terrain. The area of the newly formed plot for the construction of the elementary school building is 15,750 m2. The school was designed as a modern and functional facility for 1100 students in two shifts. The maximum number of floors of the school is PO+P+1, with the maximum total area of the buildings defined as 6m2 NET per student for closed areas and 10-15m2 per student for open areas. The planned gross area of the building is about 5579 m2. The existing sports hall will be subject to reconstruct activities. The landscaping of the school yard includes sports fields, landscaping, construction of footpaths, parking areas, and the like.

The subject of the contract shall be development of new information system and upgrading of IT infrastructure of the Employment Agency of Montenegro (EAM). The existing information system is outdated, and its operational life span has expired for quite a long time now. The objective of this procurement is to strengthen capacities of the Employment Agency of Montenegro in order to respond to efficient implementation and enforcement of regulation and policy framework in the domain of employment and social policy.

The Contract will provide assistance in: a) enhancing compatibility of national legislation with EU legislation and its effective implementation. b) strengthening capacities of relevant national structures for successful carrying out of accession negotiations. The main Beneficiary will be the Ministry of European Affairs of Montenegro. The main activities will be to provide support to national administration in drafting Acquis-compliant legislation, including timely elaboration of necessary by-laws, instructions and other interpretative materials, training plans and other instruments necessary for implementation of adopted legislation, preparing national administration for the practical aspects and challenges in the implementation of harmonized regulations, support in establishing functional coordination mechanisms to facilitate implementation and support to national negotiating structures in preparation for the provisional closure of respective chapters.
