The purpose of the current service concession contract is the delivery of professional, large-scale face-to-face and virtual events and training programmes (training courses, information days and workshops) tailored towards specific learning objectives in a number of the Agency’s areas of activity. The participants' registration fees shall cover the concessionaire's costs for the delivery of this concession contract.

The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is seeking to sign multiple framework contracts in three different lots for developing a Big Data curriculum to enhance the skills of the EU regulatory network. The Big Data curriculum is composed of the Data Science curriculum, pharmacoepidemiology and real-world evidence curriculum, biostatistics and clinical trial methodology curriculum and modules in the field of clinical trials. The contractors will develop trainings in these fields that will ensure the provision of first-rate trainings and enable regulators to apply the acquired knowledge in regulatory activities.

EMA, Eurojust and EUROPOL consider that they may require the supply of temporary agency workers for interim assignments, notably in case of abnormal workload or to provide specific services, for general corporate or specialised scientific/highly technical support tasks. Multiple framework contracts in cascade with a maximum of three contractors for each of the two lots are envisaged. Suppliers may tender for one or both lots.

The purpose of this call for tender is to be able to contract an outsourced IT service desk to provide support services to a user community consisting of up to 1 500 people, including staff, contractors and other stakeholders, at EMA’s office premises in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, plus a larger stakeholder community requesting services from various locations, mainly within the European Union, at a competitive market price.
