Tender Results of European Commission, Directorate General For Regional And Urban Policy Regio , Regio G 1 Smart And Sustainable Growth

This call for tender focuses on the continuation and expansion of the current activities of the Just Transition Platform. It covers the following tasks: managing the JTP Secretariat, organising JTP Conferences twice a year, ensuring the continuation of stakeholder engagement through new JTP working groups, covering additional JTF territories with the support provided to the Member States and regions through technical assistance and expert exchanges, as well as producing new knowledge products and reaching out with JTF communication to targeted groups in the JTF regions.

The main objectives of the call for tender are to: • set up and operate the cohesion for Green Transitions Community of Practice; • establish an academic sounding board to ensure synergies with academic institutions in the planning and implementation of projects; • organise events for stakeholders active in the fields under the European Green Deal, most relevant for cohesion policy; • set up and animate three working groups (energy, environment, climate change adaptation and mitigation); • provide concrete technical assistance support for the development and/or implementation of sustainability transitions to regions, local authorities and/or Member States; • provide ad-hoc analytical support for the further development of sustainability transitions, focused on regions, cities and local communities; • develop and manage a new website for the Sustainability Transitions Community of Practice; • ensure knowledge management and communication activities.

The main objectives of the call for tender are to: • develop knowledge products and ensure proper knowledge management on different aspects of the just transition process in JTF territories as well as provide ad-hoc analytical support for the contracting authority on issues related to the just transition process (Task 1); • provide concrete technical assistance support for the implementation of TJTPs to JTF territories in the Member States, including organisation of side-events for stakeholders in JTF territories (Task 2); • ensure management of the JTP expert database (Task 3); • develop a communication strategy for the contracting authority: short and longer videos about issues related to the just transition process in the JTF territories as well as brochures, fiches, social media posts and campaigns (Task 4).
