Waste Management Contract for the Haulage & Treatment of Organic Waste 2023-Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council is looking to establish a contract for the haulage and treatment of it’s organic waste from April 2023. This waste is collected from 114,000 domestic households at the kerbside during March-November and also collected from our four Household Waste Recycling Centres. Survivors Voice Service – Experts by Experience-The council is seeking to commission an after-crisis, peer led support service for women and their children who have previously been subjected to domestic abuse. The service will deliver the longer-term perspective of a thriving survivor and will work alongside the whole system domestic abuse service provider IDAS, to continue to support and empower victims and their families to live safely and take back control of their lives.
