Operation of complaint cell at Main Receiving Station/Power House, attending emergency and odd hours complaints round the clock each day including Sunday and Holiday including repair with all consumable stores such as fuse wire, PVC tape, PVC wires/cables complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. (Total 03 shifts with one electrician in each shift of 8 hrs each round the clock including Sundays and Holidays).
Notes:-
(i) Vehicle, ladders and major parts will be supplied by department on free of cost for attending/repairing the complaints/faults and vehicle will be provided whenever required to attend the Major/Pole complaints. However for petty repair and movement of manpower the contractor has to make his own arrangement. The decision as to where the vehicle is to be allowed will be given by Engineer-in-Charge which shall be final & binding and the contractor has no extra claim on this regard.
(ii) Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining cleanliness of yard at Main Receiving Station.

Notes:-
(i) Serviceability state of all the equipments at filtration plant and chemical ratio of water in swimming pool to be recorded daily in the register and submitted for inspection all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge. (ii) Failure/unserviceability of any equipment at the filtration plant shall be informed in writing to the department immediately. (iii) Cost for entire job shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates of the items. (iv) The job includes cleaning and maintenance of swimming pool daily to achieve desired clarity of water in the pool using suction sweeper, nylon net and cleaning agents/chemical. (Cleaning agents/chemicals shall be issued by the department as required at site daily). (v) Cost of consumables and maint items below Rs. 100/- each is deemed to be included in the rates quoted. (vi) The maintenance shall be carried out as specified in particular specifications and record shall be maintained duly signed by representatives of contractors, MES and user in charge of swimming pool.

Note for Serial item No 1.00 to 6.00 :- Rate quoted by the contractor shall deemed to be inclusive of following :-
(a) DG set comprising DG set shall be comprising complete set including alternator, motor AMF panel etc & other connected items for smooth & efficient performance through out the period. (b) Specific duty of the person to be employed by the contractor shall be to assist the electricians on duty in maintaining and operating the equipments.
(c) Attending and rectification of breakdown of OH lines /Under ground cables in feeder complete upto distribution transformer installed including replacement blown of fuses.
(d) Replacement/Maintenance of any electrical items/fittings fixtures/DBs including isolators and MCBs and MCCBs all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note any item/material shall be issued free for fixing.
(e) Claiming and maintaining the HT Switch yard both 33 and 11 KV (sub station) and removal of any type of vegetation.
(f) Recording hourly and periodical reading as per log sheet.
(g) Maintenance of battery bank of auxiliary supply.
(h) Maintenance of power factor shall be responsibility of contractor. Any Change in power factor will be informed to JE (E/M), AGE E/M and GE with in 03 Hours of incident.

Note for Serial item No 1.00 to 6.00 Contd/.... (j) Calibration of CT/PT and VCB kept at MRS shall be done minimum four times as directed by Engineer-in-charge.
(k) Maintenance shall be as per periodical maintenance schedule (i.e. daily weekly, monthly, seasonal)
(l) The attendance register of Power house/DG set operators will be submitted by the contractor on monthly basis to GE with signature of Engineer-in-charge and JE concerned (m) Log sheet of power house/DG sets daily maintained as per prescribed format will be submitted to E/M sub division of daily basis duly signed by the concerned users.
(n) The contractor will ensure daily cleaning of plants room and surrounding area of the installation ie 05 meter along and for all fanced installation within the installation fance.
(o) The operation and Maintenance includes replacement/fixing of minor spare of the installations fance.
(p) Any damage to machinery/equipment due to wrong handing, will be the responsibility of the contractor and the damage shall be completely rectified to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-charge (q) In case of any damage misuse mishandling of govt property, contractor will be held responsible for the same

(r) Medical needs to be provide by the contractor to the employees as and when required.
(s) All safety equipments such as breathing apparatus safety belt air hose respiratory, potable lighting eqpt etc for working hazardous condition to be provide by contactor (t) Contactor will provide reliver for weekly rest at all installation by providing one reliever of same trade.
(u) It is the responsibilities of Contractor to maintain the required humidity and temperature. (v) Proper uniform, label containing name plate of the operator and safety shoes as approved by Engineer-in-Charge shall be worn by operator on duty. If any operator found in improper uniform and or found without proper name plates contractor shall be liable to pay penalty at the rate of Rs 150.00 per shift of 8 hours per person.
(w) Proper facilities for sitting/ rest area shall be the responsibility of contractor.

(x) Operator on duty shall not be allowed to leave the installation without reliever. Any operator found absent from duty a recovery of Rs. 150/- per hour per installation for the period of absent will be made from the contractor. (y) First aid box kit with required medicines will be properly maintained by the contractor at all installations.
(z) Generator set will be operated on the failure of electricity supply or as directed by Engineer in Charge. Contractor shall be responsible for removal of minor faults such as air lock in fuel supply, leakage of fuel, cleaning of fuel tank, tightening of connections of batteries, dynamo and self starter etc.
(aa) All the installations will be maintained neat and clean with removal of grass/ bushes on daily basis.
(ab) Contractor will submit details of deployed manpower along with qualification certificate such as matric & ITI certificate for ITI qualified personnel and matric certificate along with experience certificate for five years for skilled personnel, within fifteen days from the date of commencement of work to GE duly verified by Engineer-in-Charge. A minimum ratio of one is to three be maintained for ITI qualified personnel to skilled tradesmen. Contractor shall be liable to pay penalty at the rate of Rs 100.00 per person per day if required qualification certificates of deployed manpower not submitted after fifteen days from the date of commencement of work.

Note for Serial item No 1.00 to 6.00 Contd/.... (ac) Duty roaster for deployment of manpower installation wise will be prepared by the contractor and submitted to Engineer-in-Charge for verification. (ad) The payment of contractor’s employees will be made through Nationalized bank account of individual only. Contractor shall submit the payment proof i.e. passbook of bank account (showing the payment entry of every month from the date of commencement onwards till completion of work) at the time of submission of RAR and final bill. Contractor’s shall ensure minimum fare wage as applicable and shall be paid to his employees and proof of payment duly verified by Engineer-in-Charge shall be submitted at the time of submission of RAR and final bill. No RAR/Final bill will be paid without submission of proof of payment. (ae) Contractor shall upload copy of registration certificate of his firm with Employee Provident Fund organization while uploading of tender documents. It is a mandatory requirement and tender will be rejected in case of non submission of EPF registration certificate. Contractor will maintain all necessary documents regarding deposit of Provident Fund of employees during currency of contract period. It will be the responsibility of contractor to follow the rules and regulations of Employee Provident Fund organization strictly.
