Granular Sub-base with Graded Material (Table:- 400-1) A. Plant Mix Method: Construction of granular sub-base by providing graded material, mixing in Wet Mix Plant at OMC, carriage of mixed material to work site, spreading in uniform layers with Motor grader on prepared surface in proper grade and camber, compacting with vibratory power roller to achieve the desired density, including lighting, guarding, barricading, including cost of all materials, machinery, tools and plants and cost of quality control complete as per Clause 401 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Grading – V Tentative materials required per m³ of compacted volume: 37.5 mm aggregates @ 0.2560 m³/m³, 22.4 mm aggregates @ 0.2560 m³/m³, 11.2 mm aggregates @ 0.1920 m³/m³, 5.6 mm aggregates @ 0.3200 m³/m³ & sand @ 0.2560 m³/m³.

Wet Mix Macadam Base Course Providing, laying, spreading and compacting graded stone aggregate to Wet Mix Macadam specification including screening of aggregates and granular materials, premixing the material with water at OMC in Wet Mix Plant, carriage of mixed material by tipper to site, laying in uniform layers with Paver in Sub- base / Base course on well prepared surface and compacting with Vibratory Roller to achieve the desired density, including supply of all materials, machinery, fuel and lubricants, including incidental costs for lighting, guarding, barricading, making earthen bundh to protect the edges including cost of quality control complete as per Clause 406 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

Tentative materials required per m³ of compacted volume: 26.5 mm aggregates @ 0.3960 m³/m³, 13.2 mm aggregates @ 0.2640 m³/m³, 5.6 mm aggregates @ 0.3564 m³/m³ & Stone dust @ 0.3036 m³/m³.

Supplying and laying in the specified pattern of interlocking concrete Block pavements (ICBP) with concrete blocks (with concrete grade as specified as per table 1 of IS 1568:2006) manufactured in steel mould clamped to a vibrating table by hydraulic pressure (as per cl no.6.30 of IRC: SP:63(2018), from BIS licensee manufacturer, with spacer nib ( small protruding profiles on the vertical face of a paver block used as a device for keep minimum joint gap in between the paving blocks, as per Cl No 3.26 of IS:15658) and of specified size and shape with aspect ratio (The ratio of length to thicknees of a paver block, as per Cl.No. 3.3 of IS:15658) as per Table 2 of IS:15658 with flexural strength/bracking load a per Annexure G of IS:15658 on the prepared base course of specified CBR as per Table 1 of IRC SP 63(2018) or else as mentioned in design and drawing with a cushion of compacted bedding sand of 25-35 mm thick (grading of the bedding as per 6.5.1 of IRC SP-63) and filling up the gaps in between paver blocks with joint filling sand (the grading of the joint filling sand will be as per Cl. No 8.7 of IRC SP-63(2018) with proper confinement of bedding and joint filling sand compaction, levelling and filling up of the edge gap. Grey. 100 mm thick.

Hire and labour charges for Shuttering with or without staging upto 4.0 m height using approved stout props with wooden planks/ply wood/steel sheet plate with required bracing for any kind of plain or reinforced concrete works in all sorts of minor structure including culvert, box culvert, crossdrain etc. The rate is inclusive of fitting, fixing and striking out after completion of work as per specification and direction. Where staging is not required.

Supplying, Providing and laying Design Mix concrete for plain /reinforced concrete work in any part of bridge (excluding bottom plugging) with coarse aggregates of appropriate nominal size and grading, fine aggregate (sand) conforming to proper grading zone, both of approved quality and cement, as necessary, including labour, cost and carriage of all materials and including preparation of design mix, approval of the same by the Engineer-in-Charge and cost for quality control, sampling, testing etc. all complete but excluding cost of labour and materials for formwork & reinforcement works.

PCC M-35 Grade: Using concrete mixer.

Water Bound Macadam Sub Base Water Bound Macadam Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal / Laterite chelly or stone metal / shingles of specific size in hard crust to requisite thickness (measured after compaction) in layers including screening of metals etc. as necessary, hand packing, sweeping, watering and rolling in stages with power roller to proper line, grade and camber, lighting, guarding & barricading and making necessary earthen bundh of one metre width on each side where necessary to protect edges and preparing the bed by necessary cutting or filling and rolling all complete including the cost of all materials and hire and labour charges of all men and machineries and compacting to the required density, as per Clause 404 of Specifications for Road & Bridge Works of MoRT&H (5th Revision).

For Construction of Sub Base by consolidating Jhama metal (63 mm to 45 mm) with moorum screening : Using 0.26 m³ moorum /1.09 m³ of Jhama metal

Construction of Embankment with Material Obtained from Borrow Pits Construction of embankment with approved material obtained from borrow pits land owned/arranged by the agency at his own cost with a lift upto 1.5 m, transporting to site, spreading, grading to required slope and compacting to meet requirement of Tables 300.1 and 300.2 with a lead upto 1000 m as per Technical Specification Clause 301.5 for Rural Roads of MORD. (Mode of measurement: pre works and post works). (Royalty charge on earth @ Rs. 29.00 /m³ and cesses charges @ 5.30 /m³ will be deducted from the bill amount if the contractor not able to produce necessary documents in support of payment made towards the royalties).

Supplying & Providing close Eucalyptus Bullah pilling of 150 mm dia. and 5.00 m. long driven 3.30 m. (avg.) below G.L. @ 375 mm centre to centre including fitting fixing 3 nos. of half split bullah as runner althrough (from 10 cm dia.) including cost of necessary nails, bolts, nuts etc. and providing 2.50 m. long half split bullah ties from 10 cm dia. bullah @ 2.30 m. C/C fixed with 10 cm dia. bullah tie-posts 1.75 m long driven 1.50 m. below G.L. @ 2.30 m. C/C including cost of all materials complete and two coats of Coal tarring to full length of all bullah & split bullah and filling empty cement bags with good quality earth and placing them in position including tying or sewing mouth (cost of thread included) and all incidental charges including cost of earth and gunny bags etc. complete as per direction.
