Charges for providing 1no. Semi skilled DG operator for operation of 50 KVA DG set of Barasat Govt. College, Barasat, North 24 Parganas for one shift (10am to 6 pm), incl. holidays and offdays for smooth Electricity supply as and when required as per terms & conditions below

SCOPE OF WORKS AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR DG SET OPERATION 1. Providing following categories of personnel for one shifts (10am to 6pm)) every day (incl. holiday) for operation of DG set. 2. Necessary fuel and lubricant should be supply by the concern authority 3. The operator should have experience of Electrical works as well as DG Repairing works. The operator should check of healthness of DG set regularly. 5. The operator will be allowed to perform his duties at site with proper identity card which is to be issued by the agency and agency will be held responsible for any untowards situation occurred for violation of contract.

6. A log book for each even and odd months should be maintained by the agency for recording all the details of operation time (Starting time, stop time with Running Hours entry) of DG set incl. recording the reading of Ammeter, voltmeter, Temperature meter etc. Log book should be signed by the concerned AE/JE. 7. No charge will be paid against any absent and/or non-operation of DG set pro rate basis. 8. The bill of operation charge may produce quarterly through concerned Junior Engineer, Electrical, PWDte. and Assistant Engineer, Electrical PWDte. 9. The DG set incl. DG related electrical accessories shall be kept clean and dust free as much as possible by the agency at least once in every week and it is to be recorded in the Log Book. 10. The operator shall operate the DG set round the clock of every day in the time of failure of power supply. 11. The operator shall operate the all type of canage over switch (which is connected to the DG power and installed at diffirent location) at the time of START/STOP of DG set. 12. In case of gross irregularity, the contract maybe terminated with 7(seven)days notice and no responsibility will be borne by this department to consider any loss for termination of contract. 13. The log book shall be maintained by the operator and duly signed by the concerned J.E/A.E and the contractor.
