Earthwork in excavation of foundation trenches ordrains, in all sorts of soil (including mixed soil but excluding lateriteor sandstone) including removing, spreading or stacking the spoils within a lead of 75m.as directed. The item includes necessary trimming the sides of trenches, levelling, dressing and ramming the bottom, bailing out water as required complete. Hire and labour charges for shoring work (including necessary close plank walling, framing, Eucalyptus/Jhoubullapiling, strutting etc) complete as per direction of the Engineer-in-charge for foundation excavation (vertical surfaceareincontact withsupportedearth is tobemeasured.) (This item should be executed on specific direction of the Enginner in charge). (a) Depth upto 1.5 m.

(b)For additional depth beyond 1.5m.and upto 3.00 m

Removal of rubbish,earth etc. from the working site and disposal of the same beyond the compound, in conformity with the Municipal /Corporation Rules for such disposal, loading into truck and cleaning the site in all respect as per direction of Engineer in charge

Earth work in filling in foundation trenches or plinth with good earth, in layers not exceeding 150mm. Including watering and ramming etc. layer by layer complete. (Payment to be made on the basis of measurement of finished quantity of work) (a) With earth obtained from excavation of foundation.

(A) Filling in foundation or plinth by silver sand in layers not exceeding 150 mm as directed and consolidating the same by thorough saturation with water, ramming complete including the cost of supply of sand. (Payment to be made on measurement of finished quantity).

Single Brick Flat Soling of picked jhama bricks including ramming and dressing bed to proper level and filling joints with local sand.

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:2:4) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement,if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. a) Pakur Variety.

Ordinary Cement concrete (mix 1:1.5:3) with graded stone chips (20 mm nominal size) excluding shuttering and reinforcement if any, in ground floor as per relevant IS codes. a) Pakur Variety.

Reinforcement for reinforced concrete work in all sorts of structure including distribution bars stirrups, binders etc initial straighting and removal losse rust if necessary cutting requiste length hooking and bending to correct shape placing in proper position and binding with 16 gauge black annealed wire at every intersection, complete as per drawing and direction. a) for works infoundation basement and up to roof of ground floor/upto 4m. (i) Tor steel/Mild Steel. II. Other than SAIL/TATA/RINL.

Hire and labour charges for shuttering with centering and necessery staging upto 4m using approved stout props and thick hard wood planks of approved thickness with required bracing for concrete slabs, beams and columns, lintels curved or straight including fitting, fixing and stricking out after completion of works (upto roof of ground floor). (a) 25mm to 30mm thick wooden shutering as per deceision & direction of engineer-in-charge.

Plaster (to wall, floor, ceiling etc.) with sand and cement mortar including rounding off or chamfering corners as directed and raking out joints including throating, nosing and drip course, scaffolding/staging where necessary (Ground floor). [Excluding cost of chipping over concrete surface].(i) With 1:6 cement mortar (b) 20 mm thick plaster, in outside wall, parapet ctc complete.

Neat cement punning about 1.5mm thick in wall, dado, window sill, floor etc. NOTE:Cement 0.152 cu.m per100 sq.m.

Supplying , fabricating and of M.S ERW pipe of different dia and different thickness of MS Plate as per instruction and direction of EIC. a) 600 mm inner dia and wall thickness 10 mm

Carriage of different type of departmental pipes from Divisional/Sub-divisional store to theworksiteby truck including loading, unloading, stackingetc. includingcost of fuel, lubricant andalsocostofdriver,helperetc.andallother taxesandcharges as applicable as per direction of EIC c) Above 10 Km upto 20 Km

Lowering M.S. pipes and specials in trench upto a depth of 300 mtr belw GL|including excavation in any type of soil, laying and jointing the same inside the sarne over ground by means of electric arc welding using astandard electrodes as per IS specification, all complete as per diorection of EIC (For laying over ground, the rates shall be reduced by 10% and ie. inclusive of holding arrangements.) For 620 mm dia (OD) MS pipes laying over ground.

Derusting, Brushing, Cleaning and Smoothening thoroughly the inner surface of spiraly welded M.S. pipes and specials by sand blasting to SA-I, swedish specification and immediately after sand blasting appiying protection coatings (resistant to corrosion and contamination of drinking water) of Drinkon Aluminium Primer 02 coats, DFT (40-50) micrones each coat and Drinkon black finish 02 coats, DFT (25-30) micrones each coat of Shalinmar Paints Ltd. or equivalent by spray painting in the inner surface of the pipes as per manufacturer's specification, all complete with supply of requisite materials, labour, consumable etc. including stacking of coated pipes as per specification, direction and satisfaction of the ElC.

Derusting, Brushing. Cleaning and Smoothening thoroughly the outer surface of spirally welded M.S. pipes and specials by sand blasting to SA- 2 ½ swedish specification and immediately after sand blasting appiying 01 coat of fast drying synthetic primer B and thereafter applying putting and wrapping to the pipes (already coated with primer) as per IS:10221 by themofusion process by 4 mm thick tar based polymaric corrosion |protection tape as per IS: 10221 specification consisting of 3 layers of palymaric mix one ayer of fiber glass mat and 3 layers of HMHDPE. Fill all calendered together to form thel 4 mm thick tape minimum overlaps to be maintained for pipe 12.50 mm and for welding joints 50 mm on both side of the weld. Immediate after the wrapping coating is complete la final coat of whitewash with water based cement paint is to be done over the entire coated pipe as per specification and direction of the EIC including cost of all labour and materials complete (Payment will be made on the finished net area only)

Coatng of 'Food Gr Epoxy' Resin of thickness not less than 240 micron with a low viscosity. cvstallization resistant food grade epoxy resin base with a reactive diluents combined wth high build epoxy amine adducts as per BS 5493 standard and a poyamide or amido polyamine or any other suitable hardener, It shall react with epoxy resin at nomal abient temperature, suitable for solventfree coatings as per recommended proportion for use on meta!, concrete and wood surface to protect from Corrosicn, give anti-fungal properties, as per guide line of FDA and USDA as well as damage from chemical reaction after making the surface free from dust, oil and moisture etc all complete as per instruction and to the satistaction of EIC

Coating of 'Epoxy Resin of thickness not less than 160 micron with a low viscosity, crystallization-resistant epoxy resin base with a reactive diluents combined with high build epoxy amine adducts as per BS 5493 standard and a polyamide or amido polyamine or any other suitable hardener. It shall react with epoxy resin at normal ambient temperature, suitable for solvent-free coatings as per recommended proportion for use on metal, concrete and wood surface to protect from corrosion as well as |damage from chemical reaction after making the surface free from dust, oil and moisture etc. all complete as per instruction and to the satisfaction of EIC.

Making lighting arrengement for continuation of work during night including all charges

Dewatering from the excavated trenches for repairing any type of pipe line including Hire Charge of pump /carriage /fuel & Lubricant/ Operator etc. for big dia pipes more than 200 mm dia all complete as per direction of EIC

Making barricading of excavation trenches of road width upto 15mtr. toavoidanyaccidentbyproviding75mmdiabamboopost placedvertically&horizontallywiththehelpof 6”size ironrail as per direction and satisfaction of EIC. (Applicablewhere critical situation arise and take up the work as per direction of EIC)

Gas cutting of different die M.S. pipes and.speciais to required length, grinding and finishing ( bevelling suitable for V- grove butt welding) ail complete including cost of hire and fuel charges of Grinder, Labour charges, consumables. Transportation as per specification arid direction of EIC.

Welding in M.S. structural work with gas or electric: (b) Continuous weld.

Cleaning thoroughly the inner surface of pipe line including specials and valves by flushing with water and subsequently disinfection of the same pipe line by flushing again with water containing bleaching powder resulting in residual chlorine not less than 15mg/ltrs. after 24hrs. of such filling including laboratory testing of water samples obtain from the disinfested pipe line and disposal of water from the pipe line after completion of the work. The rates including of cost of requisite water to be arranged by the contractor) (The rate of water @Rs. 10/m3 may be recovered, if the contractor used water from deptt. source). A) For CI/DI pipe l) 600mm dia.

Filling the pipe line with water, testing hydraulically as per I.S 3114-1965 (Article-6) in section of a length not exceeding 500mtr. for head of pressure as per specification including supplying installing and fixing all equipments such as diesel pump set, blank flange, pressure gauge, valve, pressure pump and all other tools and plants including drilling topping and plugging of necessary holes to pipes, blocking ends providing temporary thrust block and subsequent blocking of holes and other jointing materials and dismantling and removal of the same including disposal of water etc. all complete as per specification and direction of EIC. The rate is inclusive of cost of requisite water to be arranged by the contractor (Recovery rate of water @ Rs.10.00/m3, if contractor used water from deptt. source). A) For CI/DI /Ms pipe l) 600mm dia.

M.S.works in brackets made from flats, angles, tees etc. to sizes specialy bent, twisted, forged; making holes drilled and fitted to rafter of trusses with necessary bolts, nuts,washeror screws etc. (length of straight not less than 230 mm) (To be used for repair works only)
