SCHEDULE "A" Part - I (BUILDING WORKS) Note:- This schedule is not pre-priced by MES and the pre-priced rate indicated as "Rs 0.00" under Col.5 signifies this fact only.

M & L for preparing concrete top surfaces by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc. sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surface with gunny bags to remove all loose dirt etc and applying evenly a tack coat with Paving Bitumen VG-10 @ 3.50 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and directed.

Supply only pigments for use with cement green chromium oxide as per manufacturer instructions complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for 400 mm thick or less Pavement Quality concrete (PQC) of minimum field flexural strength 45 Kg /sqcm (Lower Control Limit) LCL after 28 days in pavement slab using minimum 400 Kg of cement per cum with 40mm graded crushed stone aggregate and using non circular synthetic fibre reinforcement @ 0.25% of weight of cement of PQC, laid in panels, spread and compacted using mechanical slip form paver (required span) and bull nosing / rounding off edges, curing, brooming, belting etc complete all as specified and directed. Note :- (a) All type of joints shall be measured and paid separately under respective items of Schedule ‘A’ / BOQ. (b) No deduction shall be made from concrete for space occupied by construction and dummy joint However, deduction shall be made for the space occupied by expansion joints

M & L for Cutting to existing 80 mm dia CI pipe lines in position for insertion of new Tee of size 80 mm dia for branch connection as required complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and installation for automatic operation of three phase Servo controlled naturally oil cooled stablizer, indoor type and desinged for input variation between 300V to 480V with out put voltage stablized at 415V with accuracy + 2.5% and speed of correction 8 voltage per second and of capacity 250 KVA including additional disconnecting chamber and extended copper bushing / busbar on primary & secondary side complete all as complete all as specified and as directed.

EXTERNAL WATER SUPPLY AND EXTERNAL ELECTRIFICATION M & L for boring of holes carefully under road / pavement / hard standing by trenches using ultra sound technique and necessary machine without dameging the existing road and getting out in any type of soil and disposal of soil to a distance not exceeding 50 m from the site of work with and including HDPE pipe of 150 mm dia suitable for 0.4 mpa work pressure complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for forming 8 mm wide and 25 mm deep dummy / contraction joint using diamond cutter with initial saw cut with 3 mm blade soon after concrete sets for the depth of 110 mm and priming to 15 mm deep from top with approved primer applying masking tape of edge of joint to pavement accidental spillage of sealant and filling with polyeurethene based sealant to close cells (leaving 2-3 mm recess from top), medium density, cross linked polyethylene foam back up rod of 10 mm dia, for complete width of the joint, and removing the masking tape after filling of sealant all as per directions of the manufacturer complete all as specified and directed.

Item No 11.17 (Contd...) (c) The mix design for soil stabilization to achieve minimum field soaked 'k' value of not less than 5 Kg/cm2/cm and minimum lab soaked CBR value of 8 with UCS 1 MPA shall be got done from an approved laboratory, using the proposed samples of moorum / red bazri and cement to be incorporated in the work. A trial bay will be laid and compacted approx. 50m long and 12 m wide. No payment shall be made for construction of trial length and quoted rate is deemed to include for this provision. Field test shall be carried out over the trial bay (field density, 'k' value & CBR value). On satisfactory test resuts further works to be processed. In the event of the test fail to give the min density & 'k' value, the mix shall be re-designed and fresh trial bay laid to get the satisfactory result. The failed trial bay to be removed and relaid without any extra cost. Curing of each layer of stabilised soil will be carried out as per IRC recommendations. (d) No price adjustment shall be applicable if excess quantity of cement is used / approved in the execution of work under this item. (e) This item may not be operated (fully / partially) as per relevant IS clause. (f) In case this item is not operated as per site soil condition / requirement the contractor will not have any claim whatso ever on this account for non execution of this item.

Note: DLC under this item is to be provided to a width of 600 mm extra on both sides of proposed PQC layer by the contractor for easy movement of slip form paver. M & L for Stabilising the moorum / red bazri (as approved) obtained from out side defence land breaking the oversize particles to required size, adding cement @ 2.5% (minimum) by weight of moorum / red bazri to be used in the item and water to the required quantity to maintain optimum moisture content of the mixture during consolidation, mixing the moorum / red bazri, cement and water in a mechanical mixing plant to obtain homogeneous mixture, laying the soil mixture in layers not exc 200 mm thick for a total depth of 400 mm by mechanical means, consolidating with suitable compacting plants such as 8 to 10 Ton vibratory roller etc under optimum moisture content to achieve atleast 98% of maximum dry density (Modified Proctor Density) and to achive k value of not less than 5.00 kg/cm2/cm determined in accordance with relevant IS code of practices and finishing the surface to the required levels, gradients etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : - (a) Moorum / red bazri for stabilization shall be obtained from out side defence land as approved by GE, cost of moorum / red bazri shall be included in the quoted rate of the item. S & F for sub main wiring with 2 runs of single core 2.5 Sqmm (Nominal area) PVC insulated unsheathed multi-stranded copper conductor cable LT 1100 Volts grade (FR-LSH), drawn through in and including stove enamelled conduit pipes of required size including earth continuity conductor using PVC insulated unsheathed copper conductor cable of size 2.5 Sqmm (Nominal area) (FR-LSH) connected to common earth dolly for higt point complete all as specified and as directed. Note: A. Three runs of 2.5 sqmm conductor cable and one run of stove enamelled conduit pipe of required size shall be measured as one run length. B. Cutting chases, making hole to wall and making good disturbed surface if necessary shall be included in quoted lump sum of schedule 'A' Part-I and nothing extra shall be paid on this account.
