Material and labour for removal of all loose/unsound/damaged concrete/plaster from existing RCC structure of by using chiesel/hammar/mechanical and cut/remove unsound reinforcement bars, wires etc without damaging the sound reinforcement, clean loose rust from bars manually with brush, fixing new supplymentary bars (if required), either by tying it with existing bars or by welding, core of concrete shall be firm, dust free and clean, laitance should be remove by wire brush/mechanically. The surface shall be washed throughly with water and dryed before the application of bonding agent. Bonding agent shall be applied by the brush on the core of concrete structure as per manufacturars instruction. The bonding agent shall be Nitobound EP of FOSROC (or equalent chemical from SICA/MC BAUCHEMIE/DOCTOR BECK). The coverage area for the bonding agent shall not be less than 2.6 Sqm/Litrs, and making good with Cement Concrete 1:1.5:3, type B0 (incl waterproofing compound as per manufacturer instruction) as required thickness and match the finishing of the existing surface.The thickness of damaged portion should not exc 200mm and more than 75mm in width and thickness including scafolding and formwork as required complete all as specified and directed.
Note : TMT bar shall be measured and paid separately under item No. 11.00 as supply only.

M&L for reparing of spalled RCC surfaces due to seepage (nexc 50mm deep) by exposing fully corroded steel in the repair area and remove all scales and corrosion deposits mechanically or ideally by grit blasting, clean the surfaces and remove loose concrete, any dust, oil paint, grease etc and pre-wet the surface with water and allow to dry slightly, apply approved zinc primer over the cleaned re-bars & allow to dry before repair and the substrate should be primed by applying one neat/clear coat of approved Epoxy bonding agent, finally apply Polymer Mortar of approved Make prepared as per manufacturer instructions (laid in 10 to 15mm thickness with bonding agent accompanied after each 15mm layer) to the prepared substrate by hand when primer becomes tacky ensuring that the material reached evenly behind bars incl curing the surfaces complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for preparation of RCC roof surface or wall & floor of sunken slab by cleaning the entire roof with Pressure water jet to remove the unwanted dust, loose material or any other material which may impair adhesion of the material. Surface must be cleaned and dried properly so that any cracks on the substrate can be visible. Concrete substrate to be cleaned up to exposed sound concrete cover, remove dust, laitance etc, which may impair adhesion of the material. All surface cracks up to 1-2 mm wide should be filled with single component cold applied elastomeric waterproofing coating (Dr. Fixit RoofSeal Ultra or equivalent) using a brush and adding a coat on the slab on both sides of the crack, up to a distance of 100 mm around it. Cracks more than 1-2 mm should be widen by making V-groove and repaired with PMM (Polymer Modified Mortar) using Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP or equivalent 10% by weight of cement.
Note :
1. Finished surface shall be as per satisfaction of Engr-in-Charge.
2. All cracks shall be prepared and checked by Engr-in-Charge before and after treatment for the satisfaction and rates quoted shall be including the quantum of cracks in proposed surfaces which shall be checked on grnd by the contractor before quoting bid.
3. No addl amount shall be claimed further for repairing cracks (unless deep structural cracks, if obtained after preparation of surfaces, which shall be adjusted through Deviation Order as per dirns of AO.
4. Entire application shall be carried out by trained certified manufacturer applicator only.

Material and labour for single component cold applied elastomeric waterproofing coating (Dr. Fixit RoofSeal Ultra or equivalent) on in-accessible/accessible roof or wall & floor of sunken slab based on synthetic resin emulsion, tough yet extremely flexible coating that can be efficiently applied by roller or squeegee having fwg important features :
(i) High film build up provides excellent water resistance.
(ii) Excellent flexibility and elongation properties - can easily accommodate all normal building movements.
(iii) Can be applied to complex shapes to form a seamless and highly durable water proofing coating.
(iv) Adheres firmly to most of building surfaces incl both horizontal and vertical surfaces of parapet, etcs.
(v) Suitable consistency for easy application by brush, roller or squeegee.
Single component cold applied elastomeric waterproofing coating (Dr. Fixit RoofSeal Ultra or equivalent) shall be applied by sprinkling some water over the roof just before application of 1st coat @ 0.75 ltrs/Sqm uniformaly over the entire flat surface incl verticle parapets incl reinforcing fibre (45 gsm Glass fiber mesh) and allow for drying for 12 hrs and 2nd coat @ 0.75 ltrs/Sqm shall be apllied (perpendicular direction of 1st coat as per manufacturer's instruction) on dried 1st coat complete all as specified. Note : (i) Entire application shall be carried out by TRAINED CERTIFIED MANUFACTURER'S APPLICATOR only.
(ii) Waterproofing treatment shall cover min 10 yrs WARRENTY by the applicator and Contractor.
(iii) Quoted rates shall include WATER PONDING TEST : After full drying of second coat for at least 72 hrs, a water ponding test can be performed by filling water on the terrace by carefully blocking all the down take drain outlets without damaging the coating. The test shall be carried out for 48 hrs by filling water up to 50 mm level. Observe for leakages, if any, and then remove the water and allow the coating to dry completely for handingover of site. (iv) Application shall be restricted in open sunlight having temperature above 35°C.
