Demolition cement concrete of any description and in any position not otherwise specifically provided for including reinforcement cut as required to facilliate demolition and removing unserviceable material exc 1500 mtr out side of MOD land complete all as directed as specified.

M&L for surface dressing in soft/loose soil for the depth not exc 15cm to remove bushes/green grass/medium tree roots etc to make a levelled platform around the transformer/2pole/4 pole structures etc as per the laid down procedure of HT switch yard complete all as specified and as directed.

Dismantling cross arms of mild steel channel or angle sections with and including connected accessories from four pole/three pole/Two pole structure complete and removing unserviceable materials from site(s) including all necessary safety measures complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out of old unservieable HT Air Break Switch Gang Operated any size and type from four pole/three pole/Two pole structure with and including connected accessories including all necessary safety measures complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out of old unservieable HT Lightning arresters any size anddescription from 4 pole/3pole/2pole structure with and including connected accessories including all necessary safety measures complete all as specified and directed.

Taking out old unservieable conventional type GI earthing and earth plates with and including connected accessories including all necessary safety measures complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for brick work with Sub Class ‘B’ bricks straight or curved on plan exceeding 6M mean radius built in cement mortar (1:4), complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for brick work with fly ash brick class 'B' bricks, straight or curved on plan to any radius in half brick thick walls built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and Labour for rendering 10 mm thick, cement plaster, in cement mortar (1:4) on surface on fair face of brickwork in walls and finishing surface even and smooth without using extra cement, complete all as specified and directed.

M&L providing sand cushioning with a layer of clean, dry, fine sand for protection of electric cable laid in trenches/ducts, punned down to desired thickness complete all as specified and directed. (Note: For payment purposes only punned down thickness of sand shall be measured )

Supply and lay PCC cable cover Class HV, Type-II, flat as per IS - 5820 of size 300mm x 180mm x 40mm under ground cable protection in trench, layed in the manner that width of brick to be peperndicular to the axis of cable , over HT under ground cable complete all as specified and directed.

M & L for cement concrete in foundation, filling and mass concrete in M10 (Nominal Mix) using 40 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for cement concrete in foundation, filling and mass concrete in M15 (Nominal Mix) using 20 mm nominal size graded crushed stone aggregate complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and Labour for plain cement concrete (1:2:4) type B0 using 12.5 mm graded aggregate in lintels up to 1.5m clear span, cills, steps; seismic and other similar bands, plinth courses, string courses, lacing courses, parapets and railings up to 60 cm in height, copings, kneelers, apex stones, bed plates, kerbs, water troughs and the like including weathering, slightly rounded or chamfered angles throating, as directed including necessary from work complete all as specified and directed.

Materials and Labour for Hardcore of gauge n exc. 63 mm, deposited, spread and levelled in layers n exc. 15 cm thick, watered and rammed to a true surface, complete all as specified and as directed.

Materials and Labour for ACSR conductor on two pole structure HT 11KV for jumpering, extension of bus from existing from pole structure, proper jointing with suitable clamps and termination with the help of suitable lugs in GODs,Drop Out units, insulators and cable end terminations etc of weasel with permissible sag as per IS/IE rules etc complete all as specified and directed

M & L for switches air break switch, gang operated, triple pole, 11000 Volts grade and current rating up to 200 Amps, mechanically operated, mounted on insulator of size 150 mm dia and 150 mm height and steel frame with operating mechanism worked from ground level having 3 Nos 11KV Post Insulators per phase with locking arrangements etc. and equipment shall be confirming to IS 9921 (Part I to V) including necessary electrical connections after taking down the old unserviceable GOD switches with all parts complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for HT drop out expulsion fuse unit suitable for 100 Amps Capacity at 11 KV ,single pole (two post insulators per pole) with HT barrel fuse with holder including necessary connection to ACSR conductor of suitable size after taking down the old unserviceable drop out switches complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing HT Lightening arrestor (Set of three) Station Class III, discharge capacity 65 Kilo Amps suitable for working voltage 11 KV with connected accessories like nut bolts, washers etc and making connections properly to arthing systems complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Danger notice plate of 1.6mm thick mild steel sheet, vitreous enameled white in 11000 volts, with letters, figures and conventional skull and bones in signal red colour and fixed with MS clamps, bolts and nuts of approved size, for HT, 25 x 20 cm size with and including connnected acessories complete all as specified and directed.

Supply ,laying, jointing, commissioning & testing HT UG cable of size 95 Sqmm 3 core, 11000 volts (earthed), aluminium conductor, XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded wire armoured electric power cables (heavy duty) armoured heavy duty electric cable conforming to IS-7098 (Part -II) 1985 with latest amendments drawn through pipe or laid in trenches, fixed on poles etc. including taking out the old unserviceable ones and stored as and where directed complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L for Cross arms, bracings, supports, clamps and back plates fabricated from structural steel sections including nuts, bolts, washers, welding, bending cold or hot, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed including two coats of aluminium paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer including preparation of surfaces complete all as specified & as directed.

Supply and fixing copper strip of size 20 x 3 mm as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed on "V" type porcelain insulator, 4 BM, heavy duty ( ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of suitable for mounting strip of 20 mm wide x 3 min thick) saddle to wall, buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 20 x 3 mm copper strip brazing to each joints and connected with by providing brass nut bolts and washer all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge. Note : Insulators shall be provided on every 50 cm. (Minimum 2 x insulators to be provided in every 1 x metre of strip and rate of the same deemed to included in quoated rates)

Supply and fixing Galvanised strip of size 32 x 6 mm as earth continuity conductor or main earthing lead fixed on "V" type porcelain insulator 10 BM heavy duty ( ceramic bus bar support insulator off white colour of min size of 36 mm width x 60 mm length with 36 mm width bus bar mounting base) saddle to wall, buried in ground or drawn in conduit/pipe or fixed to poles or any other indicated situation for loop earthing etc. as required 32 x 6 mm cgalvanised strip brazing to each joints and connected with by providing brass nut bolts and washer all as specified and directed by Engr in Charge.Note : Insulators shall be provided on every 50 cm. (Minimum 2 x insulators shall be provided in every 1 x metre of strip deemed to be included in quoated rates)

Material and labour for HT 11 KV (Earthed) grade heat shrinkable end termination jointing kit outdoor type complete with jointing material and accessories suitable for 3 core XLPE armoured aluminium conductor cable of size 95 sqmm complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply & Fixing for rolled Mild Steel sheet duct cover chequered design (Fe 410-W Gde-E-250 quality-A) of thickness 5mm, 1m width in any length for duct cover with overlap of 4cm on each plate end point incl making foldable handles for lifting the cover easily with and including connected fittings conforming to Fe:410-W(Gde-E-250 ) quality-A complete all as specified and directed.

S & F hot rolled low tensile structural steel of grade E165 as per IS 15911: 2010 as in hand rails, half round or other steel section or core for wooden hand-rail straight portion, drilled and countersunk for balusters running bars, for doors, balusters, nosing to steps including embedding in concrete and screwing etc. Wind ties for roof including securing bolts; posts and struts in fencing including cutting tops to shape as directed, drilling holes, notching for wire, etc.; flat iron fillets (for securing wire mesh etc.) including all necessary drilling, bolting or riveting, etc., and similar works complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L 150mm bore,HDPE double wall corrugated(DWC) SN-8 PIPE (HDPE Black Pipe) WITH COUPLER Conforming to IS:16098 Part-II:2013 fixing slightly curved or slanting slope from the end of the duct to get the cable lifted towards 11KV AB switch of 4 pole stucture and the mouth of VCB room external wall and in such a manner to pull and push the cable freely without any abstruction including plastering around the external wall od the pipe and duct mouth to prevent entering water into the pipe and cable duct. laid iand jointed as per manufacturer,s instruction with and including all fitting complete all as specified and as directed.

S&F ISI marked Insulating mat as per IS 15652 (2006) made of dielectric ' elastomer' ISI marked with test certificate of 1 m X 2 m X 19 mm, class B, working voltage 11 KV, Di-electric Strength 45KV , one side plain and other side anti skid heat proof, Acid , alkali and transformer oil proof marked with IS number, class batch number and brand name at every meter of mat, blue colour complete all as specified.

Boring of holes under road, pavement, hard standing by trenchless technology (HDD) pipeline laying, hydrotesting & boring of 100 mm dia for pipe & laying of 100MM HDPE pipe maximum 1.5 metre below of apron area (length of single shot upto 25 mtr) with and including supply of 150mm bore,HDPE double wall corrugated(DWC) SN-8 PIPE (HDPE Black Pipe) WITH COUPLER Conforming to IS:16098 Part-II:2013 laid iand jointed as per manufacturer,s instruction with and including all fitting complete all as specified and as directed. Note : (i) All the precaution to be taken by the contractor before drilling the bore. The contractor has to take plan of existing cables any type and pipe line in existing area before drilling the bore. (ii) Any damage to existing cables any type and pipe line in the way of drilling the bore will be repaired and make good by the contractor within 24 hours. No extra cost will be paid in this account. (iii) Contractor has to get the survey of route, length and depth for boring before quoting the rate.

M&L for earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode size 600 x 600 x 6 mm thick, burried directly in ground, (Earth pit not less than 3.25 m deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 2.5 m below ground level connected to galvanised iron strip 32 x 6 mm as earthin lead wire by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron or steel all as shown in electrical plate No 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified or indicated including testing on completion, surrounded from all sides by mixture of charcoal and common salt and electrode by means of steel and GI pipe light grade 20mm dia bore for watering funnel with wire mesh. CI cover with frame, PCC chamber pit with PCC 1:3:6 type C-2 excavation and earth work all as shown in electrical plate No 3 connected to earthing test point all as specified NOTES 1. The unit rate includes for protection pipe and GI strip dia from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above ground level. NOTE:- 1. The unit rate includes for protection GI pipe of 40 mm and watering pipe of 20 mm bore including excavation for earth pit in any type of soil/ disintegrate rock. 2. Contractor has to bring agriculture soil from outside of defence land and fill in earth pit to achieve desired result as the soil resistiviy is very high. 3.The cost of GI strip of size 32 X 6 mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above ground level is deemed to be included in the unit rate of above item.and copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured seperately. 4. All the joints in GI strip and connection with Earth Plate to be welded through brazing and in addition by providing double brass nut bolt and washer. 5. Cost of welding and nut bolts are deemed to be included in the unit rate.

Material & labour for earthing complete with copper earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 3.15 mm thick burried directly in ground (Earth pit not less than 4 mtr deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 3.25 mtr below ground level connected to copper strip 20 x 3.15 mm as earth lead by brass nut bolts washer including brazing the copper strip with copper plate as shown in electrical plate No 3 connected to earth test point including necessary excavation for earth pit in hard dense soil, rocky / disintergate rock, filling charcoal and salt around the plate in layers , filling the pit with low resistivity agriculture soil free from stones, to be bring from out side defence land and mixed with Bentonite , (4 bags of 25 Kg each ), construction of inspection pit ( earth pit chamber) of brick work of size 600 x 600 x 600 mm with PCC copping of 1 :1.5: 3, 12.5 mm aggregate A1 with MS sheet 2.8 mm plate cover on frame of angle iron of size 40 x 40 x 5 mm with , wire mess, funnel, test point, 40 mm dia GI protection pipe light grade and 20 mm GI peforated pipe for watering etc complete and testing on completion. The electrode and lead shall be of copper all as specified and directed by Engr-in-charge (Copper strip upto 7.5 RM will be included in the item rate and copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured seperately(Note : (i) Contractor shall use low reisistivity fresh agriculture soil , mixed with 4 x Bags of bentonite clay of 25 Kg each for refilling the pit to achive the desired resistance. (ii) copper strip will be laid below 60 cm from ground level and connected to test point through plinth protection (iii) Necessary cost of repair to plinth protection as per existing specification and connected plate and earth continuity conductor by providing 2 x brass nuts bolts and brazing of joints, bringing argiculture soil from out side defence land and cost of 3 x Bags of bentonite deemed to be included in the item rate. (iv) Contractor has to clear the side and disposed off the excavated soil from pit on completion of work. (v) Contractor has to submit test report of earthing after completing the earthing. (vi) Bentonite clay should be Conf to IS 6186: 1986. (vii) The cost of Copper strip of size 20X3.15 mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above ground level is deemed to be included in the unit rate of above item.and copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured seperately. (viii). All the joints in copper strip and connection with Earth Plate to be welded through brazing and in addition by proving brass nut bolt and washer are deemed to be included in the unit rate. (viiii) Cost of brazing / welding and nut bolts are deemed to be included in the unit rate. (ix) Cost includes removal of excavated soil upto a distance of 100 mtrs.

M&L for Advance encapsulated compound based Marconite compound earthing maintenance free , with copper electrode of 80 mm dia (strip in pipe technology upgraded earthing system conforming IS 3043. The outer copper pipe shall be of 80 mm dia or manufacturer instruction and inner copper strip shall be of 25 x 3 mm respectively of 3 mtrs long with terminal size 50 x 6 mm . The annular space between the pipe and strip to be filled up with Compact fill (CF) (Crystalline Conductive) mixture. The job includes excavation of pit in any type of hard dense soil/ disinterigated rocky strata of size 1000 mm x 1000 mm x 3050 mm depth and taking out all excavated soil, lowering and placing copper electrode in centre of pit and filling of back fill marconite compound having excellent moisture retaining capacity in sourrounding of electrode in 300 mm dia all around the electrode( Min 4 bags of 25 Kg each of Marconite back fill compound per pit per unit to be fill or more quantity of BFC if required to achive less than one ohms). The remaining portion of earth pit to be filled with agriculture soil / black cotton soil free from stones etc to be bring from out side defence land . The earth pit should be provided with a FRP earth pit cover for protection and safe guard of terminals. The material of earth electrode should have good electrical conductivity & anti corrosion property in wide range of soil conditions. The job also include M & L for in PCC(1:2:4) type B1 around the FRP cover for support and foundation and colouring the PCC work with desired colour.complete all as specified and directed.

Back fill compound : Marconite : Product of Carbon International Ltd. UK. "Marconite" electrically conductive aggregate, to be used as backfill to enhance the effect of earth electrode and suitable for rock and all type of ground condition having low resistivity up to 0.001 Ohm meter, inert PH material, Corrosion free green product in bag of 25 Kg each) Note :- (i) Design of earth electrode should be of Strip -in-pipe technology . (ii) Contractor have to submit literature of earth electrode and get the make approved of GE before procurement. (iii) The earth electrode shall be CPRI approved. (iv) Contarctor has to fill pure back fill compound all around the earth electrode in 300 mm bore up to full depth of bore. (v) Copper strip will be laid below 20 cm from ground level and connecting the test point through plinth protection using HDPE pipe for protection, necessary cost of repair to plinth protection and brazing and welding deemed to be included in the item. (vi) Contarctor shall submit the test report of earthing after completing the work of earthing. (vii) Contractor shall remove and disposed off the soil excavated from boring and clear the site before completion of work. (viii) Contractor has to submit the test certificate of electrode and back fill compound before claiming the payment. (ix).The cost of Copper strip of size 25X3 mm from top of earth plate upto 7.5 meter above ground level is deemed to be included in the unit rate of above item.and copper strip beyond 7.5 RM will be measured seperately.

Supply,designing, Installation , testing and commissioning of HT 11KV, 3Ph, 50Hz totally enclosed metal clad switch gear complete with Vacuum Circuit Breaker, Indoor type, having rupturing capacity upto 250 MVA, overload and earth fault protection, ammeter, volt meter and rating upto 400 Amp with and including connected accessories complete all as specified and directed. Note: (i) Rate including taking out of old unservieable transformer, HT panel and earth strip from MRS bldg deemed to be inclusive quoated rates. (ii) Taken out old unserviceable transformer and HT panel shall be deposited into salvage store by using suitable hydra or lifting vehicles by the contractor deemed to be inclusive quoated rates. Specifications for VCB: (i) CT ratio should be designed as per connected load of transformers i.e, load shall be calculated for 600KVA connected load only at 100% settings of relay. (ii) Overload and earth fault relay should be of latest model with LED display of make Schneider/Siemens/ABB/Areva . Relay mechanism shall not be affected by vibration or external magnetic fields, which may occur in normal operation. Indicators shall be capable of being reset without opening the relay case. All relays shall operate satisfactorily from 70% to 110% of rated voltage. (iii) Power Pack of 110V DC alongwith copper conductor wires, inbuilt battery and terminals shall be provided inside the HT panel enclosure to operate the relay and breaker tripping mechanism charging motor while in "No Power Supply" period. This shall be ensure the operation of breaker in case of power supply failure @ 2 open and 2 close operations). Make of Power Pack shall be got approved by GE (AF) Barrackpore while submitting the VCB drawing and specifications. Contractor has to submit the drawing and specifications of VCB with all make and parameters to GE (AF) Barrackpore for approval through AGE E/M (AF) Barrackpore.

(iv) Installation, Testing and Commissioning includes all kind of cable connections, terminations, minor floor PCC works, cement plastering, make good of disturbed portion of building etc., liaison with State Electricity Board for shudown of commercial power supply during connection of cables with HT VCB panel, testing & commissioning and associated activites without any extra cost. (v) Testing and Commissioning shall be carried out by SEI of HQ ADG NEI Guwahati / HQ Chief Engineer AF Shillong Zone. Contractor has to arrange all kind of tools, measuring & testing instruments, machines, technicians of OEM at his own cost. (vi) Quoted rate includes transportation charges, packing charges, loading and unloading, placing at suitable location inside the 11KV MRS sub station at Jaffarpore etc. (vii) All the breaker parts such as male and female contactors, cable termination points, recoil springs etc shall be made up of Copper material to withstand the load of 1200 Amps. (viii) Trivector meter, Indicating lamp of 3 phases (R-Y-B), Volt meter, ammeter shall be provided in the enclosure. (ix) Metal Enclosed switch gear shall satisfy IEC 62271-200 and General purpose switches shall be of IEC 60265-1. (x) Cable switch disconnector with interface C (400-bolt) bushing @ 20kA rms 3 sec and Vacuum Circuit Breaker with interface C (400-bolt) bushing @ 20kA rms 3 sec. (xi) Ratio of CT shall be of 30/1 or as per OEM recommended and shall be got approved while submitting the VCB specifications prior to purchase order. (xii) Control voltage motor operation shall be of 24VDC or as per OEM recommended and shall be got approved while submitting the VCB specifications prior to purchase order. (xiii) All mechanical indications of breaker position & operation shall be visible fro outside. Suitable transparent cover of non-breakable type shall be provided on the front door of compact unit.(xiv) Safety shutters to cover live part to prevent accidental contact and explosion vents to release the gases during fault occurances shall be provided. L8fting lugs base frame, foundation bolts of min 19mm dia or more with suitable washers shall be provided. (xv) 1 x static type class 0.5 accuracy Energy Meter shall be provided in froint side panel. (xvi) Circuit breaker shall be 3 pole 400Amps vacuum circuit breaker with spring charged operating mechanism. Plug in isolating contacts and 4NO + 4NC auxiliary contacts all mounted on a drawable carriage. The circuit breaker shall be designed such that the pek short circuit current (i.e., 2.5 times the RMS short circuit current) specified can be interrupted without causing apprecible damage to main contacts. The arc extinguishing chamber and the contact assembly shall be enclosed in an insulting tube made of FR/tough glass/ceramic or other suitable arc resistant material with sufficient strength to withstand the internal pressure forces developed while clearing rated short circuit current.
