A suitable Star-Delta Starter for 75 HP Sq. Cage Induction motor. All the electrical components for the Starter should be of L&T make only. The Contactors should be of higher rating to withstand higher electrical load and make the starter of a trouble-free operation. The Starter Panel should have incomer MCCB of suitable rating so that the Starter could directly be connected to the bus bar of the main MCC panel incase the space is not available for fixing MCCB for this starter.

It is proposed to have one stand by Ammonia Receiver since the existing Receiver needs some rectification which also falls in the scope of the Contractor. The new Ammonia Receiver should have apox. 2000 LTR. capacity in suitable design and size to circulate liquid ammonia refrigerant for the system. It should be made from commercial steel plate in 14mm thickness conforming to IS:2002 The high pressure Receiver should be tested at 400 PSIG hydraulically. It should be complete with the following connections along with the isolating Ammonia Valves, fittings and safeties etc.:- - Liquid inlet valve. - Liquid outlet valve. - Safety relief valve with isolating valve. - Ammonia Pressure gauge with isolating valve. - Gauge glass valves, glass, metallic guard and isolating valves in addition. - Ammonia charging line with valve, Pressure equalizing & Oil drain valve. - M.S. pedestals ( 2 Nos.) for ground support.

The main water headers shall need to be extended up to the installation of new compressor so that the interconnection could easily be carried out. Necessary supports, hoses, clamps etc. shall be the part of the installation.

The interconnecting Ammonia M.S. „C‟ class Pipes, Valves & fittings to interconnect the new ammonia compressor to the existing system. The suction and discharge gas headers shall also need to be extended further so that the new compressor could be interconnected easily. The interconnecting ammonia isolating / line, shut off valves, non-return valve, bypass circuit from suction to discharge and vice versa to enable to run on reverse cycle in case the discharge side needs to be evacuated. The interconnection should be planned in such a way that the required shut down time could be reduced to the minimum to hook up the new compressor with the running system.

Electrical and Electrical wiring materials comprising of Aluminum Armored cables, control cables, trays, conduits, thimbles, glands etc. for the termination of new compressor motor and its controls. A push button station should also be mounted on the compressor control box to start-stop the compressor remotely. The incoming cable of suitable size from the MCC to the new Star-Delta starter shall be in the scope of the contractor. The cable. length from the MCC to compressor motor shall be apox. 25m. There should be proper GI earthing for the compressor motor as per IER.

A heat exchanger in suitable design is required to be connected on the main suction line / header before the gas vapors enter into the compressors suction. The design should be such that the gas vapors should get super-heated so as to avoid liquid carry over problem. The liquid ammonia from Receiver to IBT / Cold Store shall be circulated through cooling / heating coil of suitable pipe dia & length in the heat exchanger. It will super heat gas vapors and the liquid shall get sub-cooled for the IBT coils and for the cold store diffusers. The heat exchanger should be insulated and aluminum cladded.
