The bid capacity required in the given tender can be calculated using the following formula: Bid Capacity = Maximum value of construction works executed and payment received in any one of the previous three financial years - Existing commitments and balance amount of ongoing works. For a Joint Venture (JV), the bid capacity is calculated as the arithmetic sum of individual "bid capacity" of all the members: JV's Bid Capacity = Σ (Individual Bid Capacity of each member) Where, Individual Bid Capacity = Maximum value of construction works executed and payment received in any one of the previous three financial years - Existing commitments and balance amount of ongoing works for each member. Additionally, the tenderer must have minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less; where V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet: Average annual contractual turnover = (Total contractual payments in previous 3 years) / 3 The tender also requires the Tenderer to have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: - Three similar works costing not less than 30% of advertised value of tender - Two similar works costing not less than 40% of advertised value of tender - One similar work costing not less than 60% of advertised value of tender. These can be represented by the following formulas: - 3 * (similar work cost) ≥ 0.3 * (advertised tender value) - 2 * (similar work cost) ≥ 0.4 * (advertised tender value) - 1 * (similar work cost) ≥ 0.6 * (advertised tender value)
