(v) High voltage test to be carried out after laying & jointing of cables. All arrangement for the same shall be provided by the contractor & shall be considered within the quoted rates.

Item no 11 contd….. Note :- (i) It is preferable to have all feeder-switches inside single stainless steel compartment with incomer feeders at the extremities to prevent chances of failure due to plug-in coupling arrangement. (ii) Necessary interlocking arrangement shall be provided for safety and operations.(iii) Above switchgear shall confirm to relevant IEC (62271-200) for design, manufacturing and internal arc compliance. Any claims towards internal arc compliance, number of mechanical/electrical/short-circuit operations, gas-leakage rates etc. shall not be accepted unless proven via type-test reports of model being offered.(iv) The above module consisting of load break switches and VCBs shall be aligned appropriately and must have electrical and mechanical interlocking as per latest electrical safety norms including installation on platform as recommended by OEM. (v) The OEM should provide 2 years manufacturing warranty including service support at site without any cost from the date of commissioning of RMU at site. Certificate for the same to be submitted by OEM and from contractor too at the time of delivery. The rate quoted by the bidder shall include the service cost of RMUs and no extra claim shall be entertained from the OEM/contractor at later stage.

(i) The concrete pit shall be PCC 1:3:6 type C-1, 40 mm thick pre cast cover slab of RCC (1:2:4) type B-1 using 20mm graded stone aggregate reinforced with 8mm TMT bars @ 10 cm C/C on both sides with suitable cast iron handle shall be provided in lieu of cast iron cover shown in electrical plate No 3 of MES SSR Part-I.
(ii) GI pipe upto & including 7.5RM for protection of earth wire/strip shall be deemed included in quoted unit rate.
(iii) GI earth strip upto & including 7.5RM from the earth test point shall be deemed included in quoted unit rate.
(iv) PCC pit shall be provided at least 500 mm away from the pit and not on the earth pit itself and the extra cost of additional length of watering pipe, bends, elbow etc shall be deemed included in the unit rate.

M&L for fabrication, installation sign board identifier / marker ( 25 cm x 25 cm board Preferably metallic in triangle shape) of 22 SWG and stand made out of angle iron of size 40 x 40 x 6mm thick of length 90cm (60 cm above ground level) and duly painted with two coat of synthetic enamel paint of RED colour for background over a coat of red oxide primer and marked 'EQ' letters of size 1 inch height in black paint text as directed and to be grouted 2 feet from the ground level including all excavation and earth work.
