Earth station with 50mm dia 2 electrodes in hard/ rocky soil

Supply & installation of GI flats of the following sizes. The GI earth flats shall be supported by Insulators of suitable size over the parafit wall of buildings & also onto the wall of buildings etc as detailed in scope of work & specification of NIT (Sr. No. 4.0 of page No. 12).

Supply, fabrication & erection of MS angle/channel ladder trays, cleats, base frame, foundation/ mounting frame, structural supports, cable brackets, supports, inserts etc. complete with supply of standard steel sections, consumables, welding rods etc. Fabricated/ erected steel structures shall be painted with one coat of primer followed by two coats of synthetic enamel paints of approved make including supply of paint & primer.

Supply, fabrication & installation of sheet steel boxes/ JBs/ enclosures etc, kick guards & other cable accessories as required complete with supply of 2.0 / 3.0mm sheet steel, consumables, welding rods etc. The steel sheet work shall be painted with one coat of primer followed by two coats of paints of approved make including supply of primer & paint.

Construction of earth station with copper plate 600mm x 600mm x3mm thick, 25mm x 3mm cu strips of 3m length & watering 40mm dia GI pipe 10 feet long as per IS: 3043. The Copper plate & cu-strips shall be of high conductivity copper of electrical grade as per IS: 6050 & shall be uniform in cross-section throughout its surface & length respectively. The GI pipe shall be of B-class medium guage, QST/Jindal/ISI approved make and shall have perforation & suitable holes for connection of earth strips. The top portion of the electrodes shall be enclosed in a 300mm x 400mm x 400mm brick masonry enclosure with cover plate having locking arrangement or RCC Top cover slab as per site requirement. Earth station shall be complete with back filling & compacting with a homogeneous mixture of sand, charcoal & salt up to the level as per standard norms. All the materials required for earth station viz copper plate, copper strips, GI pipes, bricks, strainer, sand charcoal, salt, concrete materials etc. shall be supplied by the contractors & shall be included in the prices.
