Raised Pavment Marker ( Cats Eyes): Supplying and Fixing of Molded Shank Raised Pavement Markers made of polycarbonate and ABS moulded body and reflective panels with micro prismatic lens capable of providing total internal reflection of the light entering the lens face and shall support a load of 16000 kg tested in accordance to ASTM D 4280 Type H and complying to Specifications of Category A of MORTH Circular No RW/NH/33023/10-97 – DO III Dt 11.06. 1997. The height, width and length shall not exceed 50 mm, 100 mm and 100 mm and with minimum reflective area of 13 Sqcm on each side and the slope to the base shall be 35 +/- 5 degree. The strength of detachment of the integrated cylindrical shanks, (of diameter not less than 19 +/- 2 mm and height not less than 30+/- 2 mm) from the body is to be a minimum value of 700 Kgf. Fixing will be by drilling holes on the road for the shanks to go inside, without nails and using epoxy resin based adhesive as per manufacturer’s recommendation and complete as directed by the engineer. The contractor shall submit 2 years pre qualified warranty certificate from the manufacturer for satisfactory field performance during the time of bid submission

Providing and applying tack coat on the prepared surface, with bitumen emulsion as per IS:8887 & manufacturer’s specifications @0.2 kg/sqm with a self propelled or towed bitumen pressure sprayer equipped for spraying the material uniformly at specified rates and temperatures (including cleaning of road surface) as per MoRTH specification Cl. 502, 112.

Providing and laying bituminous macadam on prepared surface with specified graded crushed aggregates as per Table 500-7, grading-2 for base/binding course including loading of aggregate with F.E. loader and heating & mixing of stone aggregate and bitumen (including cost of anti-stripping compound , wherever required) in hot mix plant (40-60 TPH), transporting the mixed material in tipper to paver (sensor as per cluase 504.3.5), and laying mixed material with paver finisher to the required levle and grade rolling by power roller and vibratory compactor as per Cl 501.6 & 501.7 to achieve the desired density (approved by the department ) excluding cost of primer /tack coat. Supply of retro-reflective name board size 600×900mm made out of 2mm thick aluminium sheet fixed on post and frame made out or angle iron 50×50×6mm 3m long using stainless steel nut bolts of 8mm dia aluminium sheet is covered with high intensity grade Retro-reflective letters in black post duly painted in black and white synthetic enamel, complete in all respect confirming to MoRTH specifications (2001) cl. 801.

Filling of pot holes and patch repairs with Built up Spray Grout in two layers with 53-22.4 mm size of aggregates upto 75mm depth and removal of all failed Material, trimming of completed excavation to provide firm vertical faces, cleaning of surface, painting of tack coat on the sides and base of excavation as per clause 503, back filling the pot-holes with hot bituminous Material using bitumen VG10 grade as per clause 506 compacting with 8-10 tonne power roller, trimming and finishing the surface to form a smooth continuous surface, all as per clause 3004.2 including cost of Material, fuel T&P etc. complete.
