Notes: (i) The Lifts shall be installed by the original equipment manufacturer only. (ii) The Lifts shall be tested by IEM after installation in the attendance of manufacturer.
(iii) The lift shall be tested by third party before IEM testing and the rate also deemed to be included in the quoted rate of lift.
(iv) The lift shall be installed in new lift shaft. The designing of the lift shall be as per new lift shaft.

(v) The scope of work also covers the civil work comprising cutting of holes/ opening and making good the surfaces, provn of counter weight, guide rails and bracket, terminals buffers supports and sill angle, plates and any other items required for successful completion of lift with respect to safety required by the OEM, will be carried out by the contractor without any extra cost.
(vi) The provision of suitable steel structure/ platform for installation of lifts equipment is part of lift items and nothing extra shall be paid.
(vii) If any clearance is required to seek from state Govt i.e. from lift inspector or electrical safety department or fire safety department, which will be contractor's responsibility & any expenditure on this account shall deemed to be included in the quoted unit rates.

Material and labour for earthing complete with galvanized steel earth plate electrode 600 x 600 x 6mm thick buried in ground vertical to a depth not less than 2.25 mtr deep below ground level with top edge of plate not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to galvanized GI strip of size 32 X 6 mm and 40 mm dia 7.5 mtr long light grade GI protection pipe for earth strip and GI watering pipe 20 mm dia medium grade from the top edge of earth plate fixed with deep cut on one end of pipe and fix from earth plate up to one feet above ground level of other end and plugged watering pipe at top with MS cap and grouted in PCC 1:2:4 of size 30 X 30 X 30 CM etc and 15 CM alternate layer of charcoal and salt around all sides of earth plate all as shown in electric plate no 3 of SSR part I of 2009. Notes : (i) All joints either strip to strip or strip to earth plate are fixed with welded joints.
(ii) The unit rate shall include for protection pipe, GI water pipe, wire mesh, funnel and excavation. RCC pit cover ,test point, and GI earth/ strip, 4mm dia/ 32x6mm galvanized iron from top of earth plate upto 5 m above ground level and if GI protection is less than 5 meter, no price adjustment shall be made.
(iii) PCC pit shall be provided at least 50 cm away from the earth pit and not just on the earth pit and extra cost of additional length of water pipes and fittings, junction, elbow etc shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate.
(iv) If the testing result of earthing work is not been found satisfactory then the contractor shall do other earthing work at his own cost and nothing shall be permissible on this account.
(v) Earthing work will be carried out in presence of MES representative.

Supply, installing, testing and commissioning of LT Distribution Panel (CPRI Approved) cubicle type, Outdoor type, factory fabricated made out of 3.15mm thick CRCA sheet outer & 2mm thick CRCA sheet inner of suitable size to accommodate all accessories/ fittings compartmentalized in construction to accommodate the incoming MCCB and TPN bus bars and outgoing feeders. The TPN bus bars shall be insulated with colour coated heat shrinkable sleeve and shall be mounted on DMC/ epoxy insulator. The incoming as well as outgoing MCCBs shall have extension links of current carrying cap not less than 1.5 times the rated capacity of individual feeders. The extension links shall be supported on DMC/ Epoxy insulators having provision for termination of incoming and outgoing cables. All extension links/ interconnections shall colour coated sleeves. The cubicle shall have frame work, bottom & 60cm long 4 legs of size 40 x 40 x 6mm angle iron, grouted in PCC 1:3:6 as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. A detachable gland plate of thickness not less than 3 mm thick should be used at the bottom for entry of armoured cable of adequate size compression glands, the panel shall be painting with powder coated finish with RAL 7032 SIEMENS GRAY Structure after seven tank phosphating treatment, front & back opening type, and fixing 2 Nos danger notice plate with letter, figures and conventional skull bones in signal red colour and fixed front & back door to LT Panel with voltage and danger indicated in Hindi and English with double door shutter and shall have lourvers and air vent gasket for natural flow of air Neoprene adhesive type gasket shall be used to make panel vermin proof and comprising of following :-
