The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having a valid enlistment with the appropriate class and category of work, and having satisfactorily completed similar works in the last five years. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works, each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works, each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover in all classes of civil engineering construction work equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work, in any one of the last three financial years. The estimated cost of work is Rs. 90629120000. The bidder should also have a minimum liquid asset and/or availability of credit facilities, and an available bid capacity of more than the estimated value of the project work, with an undertaking to invest a minimum cash amount of up to 25% of the contract value during implementation.
