Item rate tenders are invited on behalf of the President of India from eligible contractors firms for the work of : “Name of work: Upgradation of the existing fishing harbour at Thengaithittu, Puducherry under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) on Blue Revolution: Integrated Development and Management of Fisheries Sub-work 1: Upgradation of the existing fishing harbour at Thengaithittu, Puducherry under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) on Blue Revolution: Integrated Development and Management of Fisheries (Part A : New Items of works) through e-Tender in online. 1.1 The work is estimated to cost `7,69,33,478 /-This estimate, however, is given merely as a rough guide. 1.2 Tender can be downloaded from e-Tender website www.etenders-pwdpondy.in by the eligible contractors/firms. Contractors those other than registered in Puducherry should produce definite proof from the appropriate authority, which shall be to the satisfaction of the competent authority of having satisfactorily completed similar works of magnitude specified below during the last 5 years ending last day of the month previous to the one in which applications are invited. Three similar completed works costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender (OR) Two similar completed works costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost put to tender (OR) One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender For the purpose of this clause “Similar works” means the works of “BUILDING WORKS”. The value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at simple rate of 7% per annum; calculated from the date of completion to last date of receipt of applications for tenders. 2. Agreement shall be drawn with the successful tenderer on prescribed Form No.8 which is available with Public Works Department, Puducherry. Tenderer shall quote his rates as per various terms and conditions of the said form and submit on line to www.etenders-pwdpondy.in which will form part of the agreement. 3.
