The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works within the last 07 years. The similar works should have a value of: - Not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender for three similar works, - Not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender for two similar works, - Not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender for one similar work. The advertised value of the tender is Rs. 82388313.33. Therefore, the required values are: - 30% of Rs. 82388313.33 = Rs. 24716494, - 40% of Rs. 82388313.33 = Rs. 32955325.32, - 60% of Rs. 82388313.33 = Rs. 49432988. In case of composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed similar works with a value of: - Not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for three similar works, - Not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for two similar works, - Not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender for one similar work. The bidder needs to furnish details of works successfully completed or substantially completed during the last 07 years ending the last day of the month previous to the one in which the tender has been invited. Substantially completed work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. For subcontractors, they should have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
