E-tenders are invited from registered class A, B and C contractors/firms as applicable upon their Contract Carrying Capacity (CCC) for supply of perishable at different stations of Eastern Command for the period from 01 October 2019 to 30 September 2020. FDRs on account of Earnest Money for contracts being concluded at this Headquarters will be made in the name of Executive Officer i.e. MG ASC HQ Eastern Command, Kolkata-21 and it must be valid upto 15 Dec 2019. No FDR will be accepted unless the same is discharged by the firm(s)/contractor(s) duly affixed with the revenue stamp and official seal of the firm/ contractor. The earnest money of three lowest tenderers will be retained till sanction of the contracts, as applicable. 5. Tenders will be accepted keeping in view the CCC/balance CCC available with each firm/contractor. Contractors/firms are requested to apply for the tenders accordingly. 6. Detailed instructions with respect to contract mentioned in the respective contracts published on CPPP ( General instructions and guidelines for bidder enrolment are available on the said portal. All registered ASC contractors eligible to participate in tendering activity for contracts must register/ enroll themselves on the CPPP. Post registration the contractors must confirm the same and inform their e-mail ID to this office (Colonel Supplies - ST Branch, HQ Eastern Command, Fort William, Kolkata- 21). Only those eligible registered ASC contractors who are found enrolled on CPPP at least a day before e- publication of tenders will be able to participate in the e-tendering activity. 7. No tenders for regular contract and short terms agreements commencing after the date of validity of initial registration of the contractor will be issued to the contractor till the re-verification is completed. Ensure re-verification of your firm is completed before 28 July 2019 if the same is due on any date on or before 30 September 2019, failing which your firm cannot participate in tender activities being held on 02 Aug 2019 for the year 2019-20 for conclusion of contract commencing from 01 October 2019. 8.
