The registration of the contractor should be valid as on the last date of submission of bids. In case the last date of submission of bid is extended, the registration of the contractor should be valid on the original date of submission of bids. 2. Eligibility Criteria: Eligibility of the tenderer will be evaluated under the following heads – 2.1 Financial Standing and Capability – I. Turn Over: Average annual financial Turn Over on construction works should be more than 30% (thirty per cent) of NIT value of works during the last consecutive 5 (five) years. II. Solvency Certificate: Solvency of the amount should be more than 40% (forty per cent) of NIT value of works. 2.2 Past Experience: (i) It is necessary that the Tenderer has executed similar nature of works during the last 5 (five) years each costing not less than – Two similar completed works costing not less than 40% (forty per cent) of the NIT value of work. Or One similar completed works costing not less than 60% (sixty per cent) of the NIT value of work. 3 2.3. Organizational Capability: Organizational capability of the tenderer will be judged based on the data furnished by him in respect of Personnel, Construction Plants and Equipments for the work. The tenderer is required to confirm that he shall have the required strength of personnel in his employment and also possesses the required number/capacity of construction plant and equipment in working condition and he will deploy the same in case the work is entrusted to him. 3. The time allowed for carrying out the work will be 36 (Thirty-Six) months from the written order date of start or from the first date of handing over of the site, whichever is later. 4. The Non-Tribal tenderer has to submit valid Trading licence from the Autonomous District Council, as per Territorial jurisdiction along with the tender. 5. The Contractors are required to submit the registrations of their labourers with the Meghalaya BOCW Welfare Board, ESIC and EPF as per directions of the Government along with the tender. 6. The bid document consisting of specifications, and the set of terms and conditions of the contract to be complied with and other necessary documents can be seen from the website. 7. Agreement shall be drawn with the successful bidder. Bidders shall quote their rates as per various terms and conditions of the said form which will form part of the agreement. Tribal successful tenderers will have to deposit the balance 50% of the Earnest Money by Bank Draft/ Bankers cheque from any Scheduled Bank, drawn in favour of the Managing Director, MGCC Ltd., Shillong before signing the Tender Agreement. 8.
