The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of similar works within the last 7 years. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - Completion of a single work of similar nature costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Completion of two works of similar nature, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Completion of three works of similar nature, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. In the case of a joint venture, the experience of individual partners can be combined to meet the qualification criteria, with the proportionate value of experience considered based on the actual share of the bidder in the joint venture firm or partnership firm. A weightage of 5% per year is given to bring the cost of previous completed works to the current price level. Additionally, for each partner in a joint venture, at least one work of similar nature costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender is required. The system will calculate the value of each qualifying experience by multiplying the value with the percentage share of experience and adding 5% for each completed year after the end date of experience of work.
