M&L in replacement of chemical earthing complete with Copper earth plate electrode 90cmx60cm x 5 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including Copper strip of 32x6mm as earth lead up to 7.5 mtr long fixed by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc. of galvanised iron or steel including provn of GI protection pipe light grade of 40mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4)type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame, funnel with watering pipe of 15mm bore medium grade, wire mesh and lugs, test point including salt, Coal & Magnesium sulphate etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note: (a) Copper strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid separately. (b) The earth resistance value less than 1 ohm. Failing to achieve the value the contractor shall be re do the earthing without any extra cost.

M&L in replacement of earthing complete with galvanised steel earth plate electrode 60cmx60cm x 6 mm thick buried directly in ground vertically to depth not less than 2.25 mtr below ground level with top edge of earth plate at a depth not less than 1.5 mtr below normal ground level connected to and including GI strip of 32x6mm as earth lead up to 7.5 mtr long fixed by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers etc. of galvanised iron or steel including provn of HDPE/GI protection pipe light grade of 32/40mm bore and connected to earth strip earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No.5 of SSR Part-I 2009 and as specified or indicated and testing on completion including necessary excavation & earthwork in any type of soil, PCC (1:3:6) type C1 chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4)type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame, funnel with watering pipe of 15mm bore , wire mesh and lugs, test point etc. complete all as specified and directed. Note: G I strip exceeding 7.5m long shall be measured & paid seperately.

M&L in replacement of maintenance free grounding Solution set earthing comprising of 17.2 mm pure copper earthing rod, 3m long, Copper terminal size of 100x50x6mm with 2 Nos holes for termination. Electrode must be tested for a short circuit test of minimum 40 KA at CPRI/NABL. The earthing electrode will be placed in the ground after a bore is drilled to the depth of 3.5 Mtr. The bore drilling will be done  with the help of a Pneumatic boring machine, 50 Kgs BFC will be placed in the bore to cover the earthing rod from all sides. BFC will be poured in Slurry form in a properly mixed condition. The Earth pit cover Square 300x300x240 mm to be provided to cover the Earth Pit and shall be made of reinforced FRP and should be capable of carrying the weight of 5 Tons complete all as specified and directed. Make : "U-PROTEC" or equivalent in Ashlok earthings/JEF technology NOTE :- (a) Rates of boring 3.5 Mtr for earth electrode, copper strip 25x3 mm upto 7.5 Mtr from earth electrode is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. (b)  On testing, after completion, if the earth resistance 3 ohms is not obtained, earthing will be rejuvenated at no extra cost till the desired earth resistance is obtained. (c )   Test certificate from the OEM has to be produced by the contractor for the material used in earthing. 

Supply and installation, commissioning and replacement of ESE Lightning Arrester as per following Specification ESE Lightning Arrester, Installtion of LA on 5m long mast with guy rope and other accessories Test Link Box ( MS Powder coated box size of 300mmX120mmX 100 mm), ESE LA Counter, Guy Rope & accessories and ESE LA Installation on high raising buildings necessary scafolding work or protective arrangement made by contractor all as specified and as directed by EIC..

Supply and fixing 70 Sqmm single core multistranded Copper Cable, 1100 Volts PVC insulated on wall / roof of building with clamps for connection of ESA lightening arrestor to earthing terminal with copper lugs, SS nut bolts and washers accessories as per site requirement including taking down of existing complete all as specified and directed .

Supply & Laying in replacement GI tubing "Medium Grade" 15 mm bore in trenches or fixing on wall/floor/ceiling with all standard fittings such as suitable size of MS clamps, screws, hooks, Elbow, bends, tees etc complete all as specified and directed. Note : Necessary Excavation and Earth work shall be included in the quoted rate by the tenderer.

S & F in repairs of Bronze/Gun Metal Gate Valves (Hexagonal type) 15 mm bore with iron wheel head, screwed both ends for iron pipe and fixed complete all as specified and directed.

S & F in repairs of Bib tap /Stop Cock of PTMT any colour, 15 mm dia, screwed for pipes high pressure (minimum weight 90 gms) complete all as specified and directed.

Cutting of existing steel tubing for alterations or addition in position without taking down and screwing for addition of Tee, etc for 20 mm bore connection complete all as specified and directed . Note :- The cost of excavation , earthwork and fitting of pipe line required at site shall be deemed to be included in unit rate quoted by the tenderer

M&L for provn of earth chamber of size 38x38x30 cm, with PCC 1:3:6 type C1 (using 20mm size graded stone aggregates) chamber, precast slab 50mm thick in cement concrete (1:2:4) type B1 (reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) of weight not less than 4kg/sqm) with frame including dismantling of exisiting all as specified and as directed

M & L for Dismantling and taking out carefully existing one face of tower clock completely and servicing, repairing and overhauling of the Clock Hands, GPS synchronized time server master control units (MCU) with GPS Antena , GPS synchronizing circuit and one units with high torque stepper motors and its driving gears and spindles etc of the clock hands of 9' diameter tower clock. The work includes checking of all electrical connection of one face of Tower clock and LED based illumination of the hands and indices complete as per site requirement. Note : -(i) The rates quoted against the Item is deemed to be included for cost of labour, minor parts for repair. (iii) Any damage to Parts of Tower Clock during the execution of Item and while in the custody of the contractor shall be made good at no extra cost to govt.

M &L for The synchronizing of all one face with GPS real timing to reset / correct the time on resumption of the contact with satellite time, if it finds any deviation. The Auto Re-set Indexing System shall be capable of bringing back the clock hands to 12:00 clock position and then start counting time and give required pulses to move the clock-hands to the actual time of the day without any manual setting and also automatically re-set the time on resumption of power after a power-break. The items require for functionalling to be included in it complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L in repalcement of drive unit of Hands with two High Torque 12V DC, 270 Ohm, stepper motors of 1.8 degree inside the driving unit to move the Hour-hand and Minute-hand independently complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L in repalcement of reduction gear assembly suitable for tower clock assembly complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in replacement of master controller unit for GPS synchronisation with power supply arrangement complete all as specified and as directed.

S & F in replacement of GPS antenna assembly complete allas specified and as directed.

M & L in replacement of back up system of 12 Volts 9 AH capacity dry type suitable to existing tower clock system complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for brought out high raising over head crane/boom at site for doing external repair work for replacement of unserviceable parts on the facia of tower and carry out servicing and maintenance of tower clock complete all as specified and directed

S & F installation and commissioning in replacement of tower clock assembly having operating voltage range 12 Volt to 16 Volt dc current rating 600 mA when motor is running and 80 mA when ideling speed, temperature range 0 to 80 degree celsius, supported dial size up to 12 feet dial diameter and GPS fixing time less than 1 minute including its accessories as per existing sample complete all as specified and as directed.

M & L in replacement of 110- 240 V +15% AC, 50 Hz input and 12V DC, 5 Amp output SMPS suitable to existing system of tower clock LED illumination of the dial (indices) complete all as specified and directed.

M & L in repalcement of LED Illumination, colour as directed of one face of 9' dials (Indices & clock hands) LED lighting :- Each face of the 9' dia tower clock shall be provided with following LED lighting arrangment of reputed brand suitable for outdoor :- a) Illumination for the dial (Indices) : Total 175 modules of 0.75 watts each distributed as 75 modules for 4 Indices (22"x 6") and remaining 100 modules for 8 Indices (16"x 6") controlled by one SMPS of 20 Amps. b) Illumination of the Clock Hands: Total 50 modules of 0.75 watts; 30 modules for Minute hand and 20 modules for Hour Hand controlled by one SMPS of 5 Amps Note - Necessary working platform / scaffolding for fixing the LED illumination system on the external face of the tower (clock) at MP Block (approx height of Clock 40 Mtr from ground lavel) shall be arranged by the vendor / contractor and the unit rate quoted is deemed to be included the cost of it.

M & L in replacement of 110- 240 V +15% AC, 50 Hz input and 12V DC, 30 Amp output SMPS suitable to existing system of tower clock LED illumination of the dial (indices) complete all as specified and directed.

Supply and Installation of Conventional Lightening Arrester Pure Copper with base plate 14 mm Dia and 1 Mtr in length cylindrical type 4 spike (solid) , Test link Box (MS Powder coated box size of 300mmX120mmX100mmm) with proper foundation on the roof of buildings necessary scafolding work or protective arrangement made by contractor for execution of work complete all as specified and as directed

S & F in replacement of digital timer switch, suitable for working between 110 to 240 V, AC, 50 Hz and capable for setup of 25 programs or suitable/compatible to existing tower clock system and also for siren complete all as specified and directed.

S&F in replacement of GI Strip 32 x 6 mm with saddles and fixing screws etc for down conductor above ground including jointing with rivets/ brazing etc all as directed by engineer-in-charge complete.

M&L for PCC (1:3:6) type C1 (Using 20mm graded coarse aggregate) for coping of poles including fair finishing the exposed surfaces even and smooth without using extra cement including necessary formwork complete all as specified and as directed
