However, escalation/ upward revision of the rate shall be considered during the currency of the contract period as and when the rates of minimum wages is revised as per the provisions of Govt. labour Acts on submision of a copy of the order showing the revision in rates. The contractor shall quote the rates based on rate of Min. wages prevailing at the time of submission of tender. 2) Police Verification of all workers shall be obtained within 2 months of award of work, failing which workers may not be allowed inside Anushaktinagar. 3) The contractor shall employ suitable workers/ women for this work from the enclosed list till he/ she attains the age of 60 and till he/ she is medically fit for assigned work. Engagement beyond this can be permitted only if prevalent labour laws, regulations as detailed in GCC permits for the same. 4) Contractor must adequately supervise and provide satisfactory work & workmanship, failing which penal recoveries as under shall be made. If not done, cost of Rs. 25/Sqm shall be recovered from the monthly bills. 5) All tools and plants, rain gears and uniforms required for this work in time and workers shall be supplied by the contractor in adequate quantity as per site requirement. 6) The cut grass, pruned/ fallen tree branches etc. shall be cut into desired size and disposal in identified pits immediately. The contractor has to arrange disposal at specified locations inside Anushkatinagar at least twice or more a week to clear the same. A penalty of Rs. 3,000/- per truck will be levied, if the same is not disposed off within first week of generation. 7) Contractor is required to submit to Department documentrary proof of monthly payment made towards Provident Fund and E. S. I. C. Scheme to the workers engaged for the work. 8) The contractor will be required to pay the wages to the workers employed by him on work at the rates per month per labour as per minimum wages as amended from time to time in force of minimum wages Act 1948 and as per provisions in contract conditions. 9) The supervisor of contractor having photo pass can bring daily wages workers/ casual workers inside premises for work subject to following coditions. He would prepare list of such workers in duplicate. The orignal copy would be handed over to security at gate and obtain endorsement on duplicate and the duplicate copy would remain with the contractor. However departmental staff detailed to supervise his work has to verify the reporting of such workers at site. Page 2 I.N.
