Providing structural repairs in old damaged concrete structures / surfaces with approved Polymer with following operations : (1) Removal of loose/Spalled or damaged concrete by chipping and cleaning the concrete surface and reinforcement steel with wire brush and with water. (2) Cleaning the re bars with Acetone for complete rust removal and washing with water to make the surface clean. (3) Applying protective coat / bond coat using polymer and cement in the proportion of 1 1.5 (1 part of polymer and 1.5 parts of cement in synthetic enamal paint like consistancy with brush. (4) Reinstate the area with polymer modified mortar in layers of maximum 20 mm with the proportion of Cement 50 Kg : silica sand 125 Kg. mixed with 10 litres of Polymer (or 1 Kg cement : 2.50 Kg silica sand : 200 ml polymer). (5) If thickness of repair exceeds 20mm , after every 20 mm thick repair, bond coat as per 2 above to be applied and further thick of repair to be continued for each layer. Note : 1. This work is inclusive of all materials, labour, necessary supports complete all as directed at site using approved polymer suitable for structural repair shall be used. 2. Only silica sand to be used. 3.Scaffolding will be paid separately under relevant item.

Providing SFMC Micro concrete for strengthening of structural members including mixing, pouring, curing as per manufacturer specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

For Super Structure

Providing Reinforcement Steel for reinforced cement concrete at all levels including supplying, preparation of bar bending schedules, cutting, bending, transporting, fixing, tieing in position with PVC coated G.I binding wire, all labour charges, cost of cover blocks in specified grade of concrete etc. complete as per specifications and drawings. Steel supplied by the contractor. Using TMT bars of Fe-500D grade of all sizes .TMT bars to be supplied by the contractor shall conform to IS – 1786 (Latest edition) and BARC specification Note: 1) The contractor shall supply documentary evidence of purchase of steel, Test certificate from approved manufacturers and also testing third party from approved laboratories without any extra cost. 2) Binding wire required for the work will have to be supplied by the contractor at their own cost and will not be measured for payment. 3) Cover blocks shall be of same grade of concrete.

Providing 15 mm thick plastering using Ready mix internal plastering compound of approved make for internal faces of brickwork / concrete surfaces including preparation of the surface, curing, cleaning, scaffolding complete all as per specifications and as directed at site by the Engineer-in-charge. Note : 1. The height of the building is appoximately 13 metres. 2. The quoted rate shall include the cost of scaffolding and no extra payment on this account shall be made.

Providing 20 mm thick plastering using Ready mix external plastering compound of approved make for external faces of brickwork / concrete surfaces including preparation of the surface, curing, cleaning scaffolding up to 10 metres height complete, all as per specifications including forming drip moulds wherever necessary and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge.

Providing Rough cast plastering 25 mm thick for exterior masonry and concrete surfaces laid in 2 operations base coat with cement mortar 1:4, (using crushed sand), 15 mm thick and finishing coat with cement and gravel/ stone chips in proportion of 1:3, 10 mm thick including double scaffolding up to 10.00 metres height wherever necessary, curing and hacking of concrete surfaces, addition of water proofing compound @ 2% by weight of cement or as per manufacturers specifications for both the coats complete as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing and applying white cement based wall putty of approved make over concrete or Plastered surface up to 3 mm thick to get uniform surface free from undulation including cleaning complete all as directed by the Engineer-in-charge

Providing, applying wall painting two coats on new work with premium plastic emulsion paint of approved brand to give an even shade without cement primer.including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete. as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Notes for item nos.17,18 & 19 (Painting related items): 1.Internal painting to be carried out in occupied areas may involve restricted working condition viz. taking up painting work as and when areas are made available and according to convenience of users including shifting /covering of furnitures etc. 2. After completion of painting work for a particular area, cleaning shall be done by contractor and no extra payment on this account shall be made.

Providing and Painting with Epoxy paint at all locations prepared and applied as per manufacturer' specifications including a priming coat if specified by the manufacturer , preparation of surface and etching with 10% commercial Hydrochloric acid wherever necessary and neutralizing the acid etched areas by washing with 5% solution of soda ash neatly and washing with sufficiant water, after first coat Epoxy based trowelling compound if required, including preparation of the surface by scrapping, applying sand paper, filling the holes, joints, cracks if any, etc. complete.all as per manufacturers Technical Data and as directed at site to acheive 200 micron dry film thickness (50 micron primer coat and 150 micron finishing coat). Notes : 1. Sample plates and instruments for measurement of thickness of paint shall be arranged by contractor and no extra payment on this account shall be made. 2. Providing and painting walls with (Two coats) of approved shade of high build protective, elastomeric water proof exterior grade paint of required shade, minimum dry film thickness of 250 microns achieved in two or more coats / as per manufacturer's specifications including preparation of the surfaces by scrapping / wire brush, scaffolding complete. Primer coat will be with water in ratio of 1: 2 and 2 coats of finishing coat without water all as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Notes : 1. Sample plates and instruments for measurement of thickness of paint shall be arranged by contractor and no extra payment on this account shall be made. 2. Providing and fixing anodized aluminium work for doors, windows, ventilators and partitions with extruded built up standard tubular sections / Z Sections and other sections of approved make confirming to IS 733 and IS 1285 fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips or with expansion hold fastners including necessary filling up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with required PVC / neoprene felt etc. Aluminium sections shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed mechanically whereever required including cleat angle, Aluminium snap beading for glazing / panelling, C.P brass / stainless screws all complete as per architectural drawings and and directions of Engineer-in-charge including scaffolding, providing and fixing hinges / pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever required including the cost of PVC / neoprene gasket required filling the gaps using silicon sealent etc. (Note: Fittings glazing and panelling shall be paid for separately). Notes : 1) The rates for aluminium is inclusive of all fastners required for fabrication and fixing in the walls. 2) All joints shall be of mittered Joints. 3) A long M.S rod threaded at both ends to be provided in all aluminium door shutters in Top & bottom Horizontal members internally connecting Vertical members and fixed with M.S washers & nuts. 4) Only Aluminium members alone shall be measured and paid for.

Supplying man power alongwith necessary pans, spades, shovels, pickaxis, punjas, ropes, small specials spade, rain coat, safety shoes etc minimum two number of labour per day upto maximum any number of labours as and when decided by Project Engineer to work for eight hours per day or monsoon period to carry out the cleaning of chocked drain, gratings, grills/humepipe/footpath by removing the dry leaves, silt etc and also carry out seasonal departmental work alloted by Project Engineer from time to time.

Filling the expansion joints grooves tightly with Polyurethane backer rod/sheet complete all as per specifications as directed at site by the Engineer in Charge.

Providing and injecting approved non shrink cementitious grout in proportion recommended by the manufacturer into cracks/holes/gaps/honey comb area of concrete/masonry by suitable gun/pump as required pressure including providing and cutting of nipples after curing etc complete as per direction of Engineer In Charge.

Providing and fixing double tubular scaffolding system using H- frames with cup lock type on the exterior side upto seven story height made with 40 mm dia M.S. tube 1.5 m centre to centre horizontal and vertical tubes joining with cup and lock system with M.S. tubes, M.S. tube challies, M.S clamps and M.S staircase system in the scaffolding for working platform etc. and maintaining it in a serviceable condition for the required duration as approved and removing it thereafter. The scaffolding system shall be stiffened with bracings, runners, connection with building etc. wherever required for inspection of work at required locations with essential safety features for the workmen etc. complete as per directions and as approved by the Engineer -in - charge. The elevational area of the scaffolding shall be measured for payment purposes. The payment shall be made once irrespective of duration of scaffolding. Notes : 1. Carrying out Civil Engineering works like surveying & leveling, checking of formwork fabrication, reinforcement fabrication as per drawings, witnessing sample retrieval & testing for various construction materials, ensuring concrete ingredient ratio at batching plant and pouring of appropriate grade of concrete in plain and reinforced concrete works, ensuring proper mixing of approved ingredients & waterproofing admixtures for mortars and brickwork, plaster, flooring & waterproofing works, and other civil & PH works including supervision of construction safety as per BARC specifications & relevant documentation, compiling, binding and preparation of tender documents & Agreements overall as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note : (1)Each Job shall be carried out by one qualified Technician having minimum SSC with Trade certificate in Masonary/Plumber/Carpenter/Painter Trade of less than one year duration from ITI/Government Recognised Vocational Training Institute or experienced Technician retired from Government service. (2)Deployment: The contractor shall deploy one Technician for each job as single Day work for 6 working days per week for minimum 8 ½ hours per day with 30 minutes of break, in General (Ist / IInd) or on Round the clock shift including Saturdays, Sundays & holidays whenever necessary as per the discretion of the Engineer-in-Charge during the contract period. In case of emergency works like continuous pouring of concrete or shutdown/maintainance work, the technician will have to stay longer occasionally as per the instruction of the Engineer in-charge. No additional payment will be made on this account. (3) Period of work: The contractor shall carry out number of Jobs per day as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (4) Mode of measurement : Measurement will be per job basis per day. A single job shall be carried out by deploying one Technician exclusively for the particular job. (5) The Technician should be engage after scrutiny of by EIC of CED,BARC and approved by Competent authority and deployed by competent authority and the deployed technician will report to BARC Engineer/EIC. (6) The minimum notice period before change of technician is 1 (one) month; failing which a compensation , for not providing technical support, Rs. 1247/- per day of shortfall in notice period will be levied on contractor.

Extraction and testing of concrete drill dust samples from the structure. Three drill dust samples from depths 0-15 mm, 15-30 mm and 30-45 mm shall be collected from each location. The samples shall be tested for chlorides, sulphates, pH and alkalinity. Notes : 1. The test results shall be submitted depth wise by the contractor. 2. Payments included samle collection/tests and test report submission.

Conducting profometer scan at specified location of the structure for reinforcement steel location, size and cover measurement, etc. complete. Notes : 1. The quoted rate shall include the cost of sample collection, necessary tests and test report submission and no extra payment on this account shall be made. 2. The contractor shall submit the results depthwise.

Extraction of concrete (75 mm dia) cores from locations specified and testing for crushing strength, water absorption & unit weight. Notes: 1. The quoted rate shall include charges for filling back the core holes with polymer modified mortar and finishing etc. complete. 2. The quoted rate shall also include the cost of sample collection, necessary tests and test report submission and no extra payment on this account shall be made. 3. The contractor shall submit the results depthwise.

Conducting carbonation depth test study on the structure Notes : 1. The quoted rate shall include the cost of sample collection, necessary tests and test report submission and no extra payment on this account shall be made. 2. The contractor shall submit the results depthwise.

Conducting half-cell potential meter test at all locations to assess the risk of corrosion including exposing the reinforcement for carrying out the test. The test shall be conducted as per the latest BIS/ASTM specifications. The quoted rate shall include charges for filling back areas chipped for exposing the reinforcement with polymer modified mortar and submission of approved Lab test report. 5 potential observations taken at one location will form a unit for measurement purposes.

Conducting Linear Polarisation resistance test at all locations to assess the risk of corrosion including exposing the reinforcement for carrying out the test. The test shall be conducted as per the latest BIS/ASTM specifications. The quoted rate shall include charges for filling back areas chipped for exposing the reinforcement with polymer modified mortar and submission of test reports. 5 potential observations taken at one location will form a unit for measurement purposes.

Preparation and submission of two copies of draft report for Health assessment of civil structure as specified followed by five copies of final report along with a soft copy of the same on Diskette/ Pendrive covering Non Destructive test observations, analysis, interpretation and conclusions of NDT observations, drawing out measures for durability make up, estimation of repair quantities, rate, rate analysis for major repair items. Note : 1. The height of the building is appoximately 13 metres. 2. The rates quoted for item nos. 37 to 42 shall include preparation of test area, making good the areas with polymer modified mortar, disposing off debris and necessary scaffolding arrangements for testing.

Providing & applying Chemical based water proofing of Modified Acrylic Emulsion Polymer and Elastomeric waterproofing coating meeting technical parameter / specification over terrace slab/ parapet/ side walls etc. at all elevations including polycon based fibrous net all complete including cleaning and preparation of surface and testing by ponding water complete with following operations: 1. Removing of all loose materials by wire mesh and clean entire terrrace with clean water by using water jet wherever required. 2. Opening all visible crack by plaster cutting machine in "V" shape, 3. Diluting binder with water in the Ratio of 1:4 and pour on the bare slab to be treated, 4. Apply binder and cement in the ratio of 1:1 and water to obtain paste like consistency and fill the cracks. 5. Applying bond coat of binder and cement in the ratio of 1:1 to entire terrace. 6. First coat of binder & cement at the rate of 1.48sq.m per litre of Modified Acrylic Emulsion Polymer and Elastomeric waterproofing. 7. Laying polycon based fibrous net (polyester geotextile of minimum 80 GSM) for entire area immediately before drying of first coat to get proper bonding. 8. Applying one more coat of binder & cement above fibre net. 9. Applying 2 coats of Flexcoat -WP @ 2.40 Sq.M per litre with dilution 10% weight of potable water, 10.Test the surface for water tightness. PHYSICAL PROPERTIES: Appearance : Milky white emulsion. Solid content (150°c/ 20 min.) :47.0 ± 0.5% pH : 8.0-10 Viscosity (Brookfield LVF#1/60 @ 25°c) : 160 cps Max. Providing and fixing construction safety netting cloth around scaffolding. The cloth shall be tied with necessary suitable arrangement in such a way that no area is left out at the edges as well as at the overlap portions and keeping the same in position during the entire period of work. the cloth net shall be maintained from time to time by replacing the damaged portion. the same shall also be cleaned as regular interval so as not to accumulate the debris. the same shall be removed after completion of work as directed by Engineer in Charge. The cost includes all the materials , labours, ropes, required for tieing/ fixing at site complete.

Providing and erecting Tubular scaffolding inside the hall using H frames and MS Pipes, working platform, Access Ladders for safe working up to max 13 m ceiling height. The quoted rate shall include all consumables, equipment, labour, erection and dismantling and removal of the same after the work of repair is completed. Necessary and adequate protection of the machines and equipments shall be provided by contractor. Note : 1. Measurement shall be taken for plan area of ceiling area covered. 2. This item is for highbay area for ceiling hammer testing, core cutting and other NDT testing as well as other miscellaneous civil works. 3.
