Hiring of Road Crane of 25 MT capacity including necessary fuel, oil and operator etc. complete as directed by engineer in-charge. The contractor shall be responsible for arranging all types of permits required for movement of the Crane. Payment shall be made for actual working hours at site.

Removal of excavated/slip earth/ debris/ malba from the site of works to any other place outside Railway land/premises, including all excavations, handling, re-handling, loading, unloading and leading, etc. all labour and material as a complete job. Removal of Earth (all kinds of soils)/ROCKS, BOULDERS including mud/slush, slipped earth in catch water drains, side drains, over berms in cutting, water way of bridges, over coping of toe/breast/retaining walls etc. including crossing of nallah, railway tracks, making/repairing approach roads if required, all lead, lift, ascent, descents, or any other obstruction. Earth spoils to be dumped outside the cutting or railway embankments as per direction of Engineer in charge

Cleaning side drains in cuttings by the side of track (Kutcha or Pucca) including disposal of the debris, soil, muck etc. as directed by the engineer. Note - Rates are for disposal at the end of cutting. Disposal of debris/soil/muck beyond end of cutting to be paid for under relevant lead item. lead within cutting is up to 50 m

White washing with lime to give an even shade New work (three or more coats)

Supplying skilled/artisan staff like welder,moulder, chipper,lutter, aligner,striker/hammerman & adequate Nos.of semi-skilled and unskilled labour and supplying petrol @ 1liters/join for facilitating welding works on track by shifting the joint sleepers upto 30cm.(1'-0")on either side, providing suitable gap of about 23mm.to 1 25mm by pulling back of rail including removing keys, spikes & other fastenings and required and refixing the same after welding, clearing the rail ends, fixing the Petrol Tank & heating the rail, ends by railways/approved Contractors equipment and chipping the excess materials if required, bringing the shifted joint sleepers to the specific spacing and packing them to the required specification as directed including adjustment of required gaps for welding, aligning, levelling etc. complete including Contractor's own files for filling after welding in running track.(Z/100)(NIR-CHUA)(M/L)

Greasing of Elastic Rail Clips on PSC sleepers with contractor's own grease confirming to IS:408 of reputed make, and labour etc. complete as per para 1411 (5) (b) of IRPWM. Greasing work includes cleaning of 3 ERC, metal liners, and contact surface or rail amd eyes of inserts, first with wire brush and subsequently with sand/emry paper and than cleaning of the above surface with soft brush and subsequently application of grease using soft brush. ERC should be correctly driven so that leg of clip is flush with the end face of the insert. Over driving or under driving of the ERC should not be done. Per Track

Painting two coats with black bituminous paint to weld collers (i.e. flash but weld as well as AT welds) on track/on cess on any rail section with anti-corrosive paint of reputed manufacturer confirming to 7 IS:9862/1981 specifications on the welded area up to 10 cm on either side including on the under side of the rail foot as per Railway's AT weld manual including surface preparation by way of wire brushing for removal of sand,dust,loose rust & mill seal and lattering/numbering of weld joints as directed with contractor's labour, materials, tools, plants, paints and brushes etc. including crossing of Railway lines,all lead, lift, transportation,taxes/charges leviable by the Government etc. complete as per direction of Engineer-In-Charge.

Manufacturing and supplying various Engineering Indicator Boards, fully retro reflective of high intensity grade made out of 2mm thick aluminum alloy sheet conforming to IS:736 with with 12 mm dia holes drilled for fixing of bolt and nut of 10 mm dia. The entire face of sign board shall be covered with yellow high intensity grade reflective encapsulated lence type sheeting processed with heat lamp vacum applicator 8 machine.The black letters, black, banded or any other black part of the front face shall be cut out of CAL FILM. The CAL FILM should be of make KIWACAL or SCOTCHACAL or HI-SCAL that can be detected from inscription of the release paper of the CAL FILM. The backside of sign plate including frame shall be painted with non peelable weather proof one coat of zinc chromate stoving primer and two coats of grey stove enamel to IS. shade No.630 trench grey conforming to respective IS specification. Note: 1.0 Size & numbers of various Engineering boards shall be furnished by Engineer - In- Charge from time to time.

Profiling and boxing of ballast section in track by redistribution of excess ballast to different location in the same/adjacent TP and dressing of ballast as per standard ballast profile prescribed in IRPWM, it also include tidiness of existing cess by removing vegetation with phowrah as per direction of Engineer-in- Charge.

Execution of various works against Pre & post temping operation and other enabling works at turn outs in connection with UNIMATE working. The item includes: i) Tidying of full cess width is to be done, removal of vegetation (upto 2" girth) from roots completely and cutting of earth ridges (upto 150mm) wherever existing on cess for effective drainage.Heaping up of ballast in tamping zone including collecting scattered, spilled ballast from cess, bank slope and spreading in tamping zone. ii) Low cess (upto 150 mm) to be made up and high cess should be cut upto a depth (upto 150 mm) and giving a cross slope of 1 in 30 to 1 in 40 sloping away from toe of ballast and then dressing of cess neatly iii) Slewing of sleeper laterally to bring them in central position with rail foot i.e. gap between rail foot and inserts on both sides should be made equal. iv) Squaring of sleepers and adjustment of sleeper spacings wherever required. v) Making elastic rail clips visible,removing extra ballast (if any) for visibility of operators. Clearing of ballast for about half of rail height and removing joggled fish plates in advance to ensure proper clamping by lifting lining rollers of the tamper. vi)Removal of all obstructions infringements such as embedded rail posts, tie bars etc. in a width of 2300 mm on either side of the centre of track to avoid infringements. vii) Shifting, removal, handling of scattered P.Way materials lying in the working zone from the full ballast section and keeping the same within a free lead of 30 metre neatly stacked. viii) Attention to 11 low joints and cleaning of pumping joints. ix) Compaction of shoulder and crib ballast boxing and profiling the ballast to standard approved profile with contractor's own wooden/steel rammers, labour etc.complete. x) The ballast profile should be dressed to the specified dimension with suitable template. The top and bottom edge of the ballast section should be neatly lined using hemp chords of 6 mm dia. Re-distribution of ballast within a free lead of 100 metre to make the ballast section and ballast profile uniform. xi) Removal of wooden blocks, clamp etc. for smooth working of tamping machine. xii) Cleaning & Greasing of elastic rail clips on PSC sleepers with Contractor's own grease conforming to IS-408 and labour complete as per Para 1411(5)(b) of IRPWM. xiii) Recoupment of deficient fittings and proper driving of all fittings to correct position.Face of central leg of pandrol clip should be flushed with the end of inserts i.e. the end of the leg should not remain inside nor should it project beyond the eye of insert. xiv) One round of slack picking after tamping,including through packing of spots where machine tamping does not work like, glued joints and fish plated portions etc. xv) Removing the ballast from shoulder from one end of sleeper for facilitating alignment correction and raking in ballast immediately after correcting the alignment and packing the other end of sleeper to retain packing of sleeper wherever required as per direction of Engineer-in-charge or his authorised representative. Note:- (I) In case of night working, the contractor has to make his own arrangements for lighting, such as generator, fuel, labour etc. "Pre & post tamping of Points & Xing 1 in 8.5 etc."

Daily inspection of track and patrolling of track to the prescribed standard as per IRPWM/LWR 12 manual or as directed by engineer-in-charge or his representative for the safe and satisfactory running of trains.The rate includes complete cost of one labour per day including ESI & EPF contribution taxes,like GST etc.complete rate of item also includes provision of tools & plats, safty equipment's consumables etc.
