The bidder should have prior work experience in civil engineering works, with specific requirements including achieving an average financial turnover on execution of civil engineering works, and having successfully completed or substantially completed similar nature of contract(s)/work(s). The bidder should also have experience in similar works, with a value of at least 33% of the advertised cost, and should have completed such works with a satisfactory completion certificate. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having executed and completed or substantially completed successfully work(s) of similar nature, with a completion certificate from an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. The bidder's experience as a sub-contractor will be considered only when the sub-contractor has been nominated/approved by the client department, and documentary proof to this effect should be submitted along with the bid. In terms of percentage, the bidder should have achieved an average financial turnover on execution of civil engineering works in any government/semi-government organization/autonomous body/municipal body/public sector undertaking, during any three out of the last five financial years, with a value of 40% of the advertised cost. The bidder should have substantially completed, as a prime contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to 33% of the advertised cost, with a satisfactory completion certificate from the concerned officer of rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent, up to the preceding financial year, with the completion certificate considered @100% complete. The amount for 33% of the advertised cost is 0.33 * 285.48 = Rs.94.21 Lacs, and for 40% of the advertised cost is 0.40 * 285.48 = Rs.114.19 Lacs.
