Manning and operation of running of following plants at LSRC Power House(New KLP) in Three shifts per days (each shift of 08 hrs) including maintenance of all records as required and cleaning of plant and surrounding area, description of plant is as under :- (a) DG Set 1010 KVA - 01 Nos (b) DG Set 750 KVA - 01 Nos (c) DG Set 500 KVA - 01 Nos (d) DG Set 125 KVA - 01 Nos (e) Diesel Day oil Tank - 02 Nos (f) Multiskiled man Power-03 Nos Per day (01 No in each shift) For Three Shift Note for Ser item No 1, 2, 3 & 4 (i) The operators shall be ITI qualified of any branch/ subbranch of electrical or mechanical/airconditioning/ Refrigeration trade and minimum three years experience in operation of similar plants. (ii) The contractor shall be responsible for doing minor nature of complaints viz (i) Cleaning of air filters of DG set, ii) Maintain of diesel pipe lines and FOL Tanks iii) Attending any type of electric complaints in the Power house and monitoring the complaints and giving feed back to cocerned JE E/M/Engr-in-charge iv) Monitoring of functioning of all equipments in the Power house and updating the breakdowns to the concerned JE E/M/Engr-in-charge v) Tightening of any loose electrical connection from LT panel / DG Set, Cleaning of Contactors, all as directed at site. The details of operation of above mentioned Electric installations also comprising the following works :- (a) Installation shall be maintained and operated round the clock incuding Sunday and Holidays (b) Operating DG Set (Stand by) as and when required or main supply goes off including maintenance of DG set and maintaining daily log sheet (c) DHPP and Engine Oil required for run DG Set will be issued under Sch 'B' free for filling and to be collect from MES store yard time to time as and when required. (d) Proper log sheets and register for running of DG Set and reason of running. FOL shall be supplied by the MES through DEL for which proper record of issue, consumption shall be maintained by JE E&M/Engr-in-charge. (e) The contractor shall be responsible to keep the Electric installation neat and clean on every day. (f) Testing of Heating efficiency once in a week at the user out let point and recording test result in a register and to be get signed by Engineer-in-Charge and maintaining the consumption of POL which will be issued under Sch 'B' free for colloect from MES store yard time to time as & when required. (g) Proper log sheets for running of the Electric Plant to be maintained (h) Carry out weekly maintenance of electrical panels installed in Electrical Plant and intimate to Engr-in-Charge immediatetly for any defects/break down/repairs required. (j) Carry out tightening of nuts and bolts, replace whenever required, and apply and grease. (k) Proper dress i.e. overall combinaion of grey/navy blue colour, protective clothing, protective shoes, mask, gloves, material like cotton waste/jute etc. testing instruments and other equipment required for maintenance and operation shall be arranged by the contractor wihin the overall cost quoted angainst the item. No extra amount shall be paid separately on this account. (Recovery will be made against non wearing of uniform @ Rs 250/- per shift and Recovery for absent from duty (per shift) will be recovered @ double the wages of per shift) (l) Safety devices as per latest IS shall be arranged by the contractor for his labour deployed in maintenance and operatin work. Also necessary T&P required while working shall be arranged by the contactor at this own cost. No extra amount shall be entertained separately on this account. (m) Register, Log sheet and other stationery items to be provided by the contractor within the overall cost quoted against the item.
