FOUNDATION:- Shallow or deep foundation based on the bearing capacity (SBC) of the soil and the structure load. Approximate/tentative safe bearing capacity of the soil at the proposed location is 12T/Sqm at 1.5 Mtr depth, however Contractor will check the SBC of soil on ground as per relevant IS Code through NABL/Govt approved lab before the design process.

LOADING:- As per relevant IS Code including IS875 Part I, II, III, IV & V and also relevant International Codes for steel structures.

Following shall be conformed:- RCC: M-30 (Design Mix) Fe-500D TMT Bars Zone IV Residential Building as per IS1893-2016; life shall be atleast 50 Years Layout as per Architectural Drawing

Flooring : S&F coloured Non skid ceramic tiles 7-8mm thick over 15 mm thick screed bed in cement mortar 1:6 over sub base of 100 mm thick PCC 1:4:8 type D-2 (using 40 mm graded crushed stone aggregate) and 100 mm thick hardcore under floor finishes complete all as specified and directed.

Internal Walls:- LGSF wall of min thickness 140mm along with rock wool insulation of density not less than 48Kg/Cubic meter sandwiched between min 12.5mm thick Gypsum board and min 8mm thick Fiber Cement Board on both Sides. It shall also cater provision for fixing of tiles.

External Walls:- LGSF wall of min thickness 140mm. The external cladding to be weather proof PGI sheet of minimum thickness 0.5mm. Internal surface to be of 12.5mm thick Gypsum board over fiber cement board minimum 8mm thick. Rockwool insulation of minimum thickness 50mm, density of 48Kg/Cubic meter to be sandwiched between the external and internal boards. All necessary flashings will be provided at corners and joints. Colour and pattern of CGI sheet will be approved by GE

False ceiling panel: The false ceiling shall be made up of 140mm thick continuous line manufactured hybrid core insulated fireproof sandwich ceiling Panels in min 1100mm width with facility of customized Length, Core Type modified insulation Core with an internal temperature range of -30°C to +25°C. The Panels shall be made of 0.50mm thick color coated steel sheets on both side with 50 mm thick layer of rigid HCFC, CFC, HFC free modified Polyisocyanurate foam providing max U value of 0.36 w/m2k with all necessary certification to be submitted along with bid. The False ceiling panels shall be provided with tongue and groove joint interlocking system. All materials required for the manufacture of shelter shall be new and shall comply with relevant Bureau of Indian Standard specification. The false ceiling panels shall be provided with tongue and groove or lip locking joint for interlocking. False ceiling shall be supported with the help of inverted CRCA Tee Section 50 x 50 x 6 mm thick (4.40 Kg/Rm) and L- section of 50 x 50 x 5mm thick (3.80 Kg/Rm) fixed appropriately to the Truss.

Flashing: Suitable flashing with 0.6mm thick pre-coated sheet of matching color with panels will be provided at all around the shed between roof and wall joints as specified and directed.

Roof: 0.50 mm thick Pre Painted Galvanised Iron sheet semi corrugated approved color fixed with self-tapping screws over steel purlins. Steel sheets shall be laid with corrugations over lap at sides and 15 cm end overlap or as per manufacture's instruction. Pre painted (matching with roof tint) wind tie of size 40 X 5mm flat iron shall be provided at lower and upper horizontal end of each pitch for protection against wind. The Profile of Galvalume sheet on roof will project 400mm outside the ends of front and rear side and 300mm at the both gable ends. In addition to self-tapping screws shall also be fixed for roof sheeting. The sheets shall be as per IS. MAKE: TATA/ SAIL/JSW

Ridge Cover 0.50 mm thick Pre Painted Galvanised Iron plain sheet of approved color matching with the roof sheet of size & design, 3.0 m long and 900 mm wide will be provided. PPGI sheet is to be fixed on top junction of the roof using suitable self-tapping screws over steel purlins. Installing foam closers between Ridge cover and Roof sheet to avoid the entry of snow inside the shelter. No gap should be there in the roof design for allowing the entrance of snow inside the roof from ridge and roof sheet. MAKE: TATA/ SAIL/JSW

Wind Breaker Roof : The wind breaker cabin roof shall be made up of 50mm thick alongwith minimum 28 mm trepazodical shape Panels. The Panels shall be made of 0.6 mm thick PPGI on both sides and a layer of rigid CFC free polyurethane foam of density 44 kg /cum (+/-) 2kg/ cum as Insulation. The roof PUF panels have one ridge / end lap overlapping of minimum 150 mm on the sides and will be fixed on to the roof steel structure using STSD screws.

S&F curtain rod decorated type chromium plated 1200mm long 25mm dia for doors and openings including brackets and domes/funnel complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

FIRE RATING:- Min 2 hrs and as per NBC Codal Norms for the same wrt steel structures for residential bldg complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Following softwares shall be used in design and execution of work :- STAAD / ETABS/ SAFE/ CSI/ STRAP etc complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Vetting: The detailed structural design shall be submitted for all structural members including foundation columns, beams, slabs, staircase etc. It shall include design of opening in structural members, design of lintels, beams etc above doors, windows etc. design of inserts plates and the likes, which are essential for structure to meet its structural and functional requirement. The structural design shall be vetted from any of the IITs/NITs and thereafter approved by GE prior execution.

Ventilator:- Powder coated aluminum openable type ventilator of size 600 x 300 mm with glass and stainless steel fly proof mesh (Internal mesh shutter and outer glass shutter). Outer frame shall be made of 1.6mm thick, weight not less than 0.710 kg/m and shutter frame shall be made of size 44 x 44 x 1.6mm thick, weight not less than 0.670 kg/m and clip shall be made of size 21 x 15.4 x 1.22mm ,weight not less than 0.18 kg/m. Mullion shall be made of size 59 x 38 x 1.6mm ,thick weight not less than 0.85 Kg/M. and including 4mm thick sheet glass necessary joining cleats, glazing chips, rubber packing. Aluminum fly proof mesh having 1mm aperture of wire mesh 24 gauges shall be fixed aluminum shutter. All the material used for aluminum frame work should conform to IS-733- 1983, IS-737-1986 or IS-1285- 2002 complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

Doors: factory made solid panel PVC door shutter 30 mm thick (style) consisting of frame made out of MS tubes for top and bottom rails. M.S frame shall be covered with heat moulded plain coloured PVC C channel having a PVC sheet strip of 20 mm width stuck inside with solvent cement for stiles and plain colour PVC sheet for top rail, lock rail and bottom rail on either side & as gap insert for top rail & bottom rail; Paneling of plain colour PVC sheet to be fitted in the M.S frame welded/sealed to the stiles & rails with suitable PVC sheet beading and jointed & fixing in the frame at site as per specification & drawing complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge

Staging : S&F framed bracket of angles or tees with web and flanged cut to shape, drilled and countersunk for screw, including bending and welding angles as necessary gusset plates riveting etc conforming to Fe-290, Gde E-165 for staging for water tank of 500 Ltr capacity including erecting with PCC 1:3:6 type C2 as in foundation filling complete all as specified and directed

Note:- Anything missed out above but required as per arch line plan for construction of building so as to meet its functional requirement shall be deemed to be included in quoted rate.

Design Supply and Erection of LGSF ACC Bldg of size 7m x 8m with 1.5m gallery well covered with perforated sheet for sunlight as per line drg. The structural design all including of footing and foundation needs to be prepared by contractor from the specialist firms listed in Particular Specification and also to be vetted from NIT or IIT by the contractor . Certificate from IIT/NIT needs to be in conjunction with codal provns and submitted by the contractor before execution of the wk. Structural frame system design with structural steel conforming to IS Code and design as per IS Codal Provns with std worst combination of load as per IS Code prevailing in Leh. The structural frame system should sup the structure. Design criteria: The structural shall be designed in accordance with relevant IS Provns/NBC code/extent govt guidelines suitable for leh however, some of design criteria are listed as under: (a) Seismic Co-efficient: As per Seismic Zone IV. (b) Snow load :As per IS codal provn. (c) Wind load :Equivalent to wind speed of min 55 mtrs/sec or as per relevant IS Provn. (d) Roof slope: as per design requirement. (e) External temperature :(-) 20 degree to (+) 25 degree. (f) Water absorption/Penetration: Nil & adequate sealing material be provided through include Silicon Sealing Gun. (g) Termite proofing :Termite proof. (h) Fire resistant (Walls and ceiling): Fire retardant & should not emit toxic fumes. (j) Ease of construction :Shelter should be modular in design. (k) Design load: As per IS 875/Relevant IS provn. (l). Design of fdn as per the str vetted by the auth as mentioned above. (m) SBC of nearby area is roughly 12Ton/sqm at a depth of 1.5m . However, the dept shall provide actual SBC of site for the ref of the contractor. in case the SBC is less than 12Ton/Sqm the foundation design shall be accordingly modified and shall be got approved from GE . The quoted rate is deemed to including this aspect. (n) The Structure should be 300mm above the GL and subsequent filling and RCC/PCC must be catered. (o) Proper PCC plinth protection should be provided all around the bldg over hardcore as specified and directed.

The structure shall be 7m x 8 m with 1.5m Gallary wall complete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. All structural steel shall be designed as per IS 800/Relevent IS Codal Provn with Limit State Method. The minimum thickness of hollow steel member shall be 3.2mm. All weld shall be as per design requirement or 6mm whichever is more. All joints between column and beam shall be butt weld and with design to developed full strength. The Square Hollow Section (SHS)/Rectangular Hollow Sections (RHS) shall be used of grade YST 310 as per IS:4923/Relevent IS. Structural steel shall be of 350MPa conforming to grade E350A/BO/BR as per IS:2062/Relevent IS. The minimum thickness of plate shall be 6mm. All anchor bolts will be grade 10.9 conforming to IS:1367/Relevent Codal provn and of minimum size 12mm. The cover to anchor bolts shall be 40mm or 1.5 times the diameter of bolt, whichever is more or as per vetting done by IIT/NIT. Suitable provision will be made to design and construct special provisions of insert plates, Anchor Fasteners, Cut out etc omplete as directed by Engineer-in-Charge.

LGSF Steel Framed Super Structure With RCC Foundation and Mezzanine Flooring System. Super structure shall be designed using PEB and LGSF Sections confirming to the IS Codal specifications duly vetted by IIT/NIT.

Window:- Powder coated aluminum three track sliding window of size 1000 x 1000 mm with 5 mm thick glass panel and stainless steel fly proof mesh fixed to shutter with aluminum grill shall be provided (02 no’s of glass shutter, 01 Nos wire mesh shutter). Outer frame shall be made of 1.6mm thick, weight not less than 0.710 kg/m three track aluminum frame and shutter frame shall be made of aluminium frame of size 44 x 44 x 1.6mm thick, weight not less than 0.670 kg/m and aluminium clip shall be made of size 21 x 15.4 x 1.22mm ,weight not less than 0.18 kg/m. Almn Mullion shall be made of size 59 x 38 x 1.6mm, thick weight not less than 0.85 Kg/M. Main Doors:door shall be provided for all shelters having size 995mm x 2135mm made of powder coated aluminum frame shall be provided as per design approved by Engr in charge and drawing. The door shall be of GI metal skin reinforced with hybrid core insulated panel 60mm thick of same color (specification mentioned above for the walls panel). The internal shutter shall be hanged with 03 pieces heavy duty hinges. 2 Nos of aluminum AL drop of 250 mm and Aluminum tower bolts of 200 mm size from inside and 2 Nos D type handles shall be provided in each shutter. 1 Nos Canopy Rain/sun shed of 0.60 mm thick PPGI sheet of size 1000 mm x 450 mm using angle iron frame of size 35 x 35 x 3 mm duly painted over with red oxide primer. All the material used for aluminum frame work should conform to IS-733-1983, IS-737-1986 or IS- 1285-2002. as specified and directed.

Note : Punned down thickness (overall 18cm), shall be considered for measurement and payment.
