(B) ALTERNATOR. Alternator rating 250 KVA (200 KW), 3 phase, 50 cycles 415 Volt, 4 wire supply at NTP 0.8 power factor running @ 1500 RPM self excited, self regulated , mounted on a strong fabricated steel frame suitable for mounting on a permanent foundation to be coupled with above engine. Voltage regulation plus minus 1 %, insulation class H, winding pitch 2/3, stator winding double layer lap, dynamically balanced rotor, waveform distotion no load 1.5 %, total harmonic distortion non distorting balanced linear load 5 % , max unbalanced load across phases = 25%.Dedicated winding specially designed for 1 phase operation.The alternator shall be conforming to IS/IEC 60034-1, BS-2613 of IS-4722. (C) Alternator control panel CRCA sheet, floor mounted, cubical type with internal copper wiring with copper coductor cable of suitable size for 250 KVA alternator, 415 volts, 3 phase 4 wire, 50 cycles fabricated out of 1.6 mm thick MS sheet, painted internally and externally with two coats of epoxy powder coating paint over a coat of red oxide primer, including following accessories:-

(a) Suitable scaled flush mounted AC voltmeter with selector switch 0-500 volts: 1 set (b) Suitable scaled flush mounted ammeter with selector switch and CTs of suitable range:1 set (c) Frequency meter : 01 No (d) KW & KWH meter : 01 No. (e) Moulded case circuit breaker 1 No with overload and short circuit protections (for incoming) as recommended by manufacturer. (f) Set of insulated copper bus bar of suitable capacity (g) Set of indicating lamps (h) Set of instrument fuses (j) Any other fitting/accessories as recommended by the manufacturer. (D) OTHER FITTINGS. (a) Battery Charger. Battery charger having electric circuit consisting of triodes, rectifiers, capacitors and resistance etc. The battery charger should be able to charge the battery at all the time whenever electric supply given to battery charger though control panel or electric power point. Model No 12/48 Make : ELAK or EQUIVELENT.

(b) Fuel tank with provision of cleaning of suitable capacity as per manufacturer's instructions capable to store 12 hours running of DG set with supprting fabricated steel stand with all pipes connecting upto fuel pump including oil level indicating gauge, drain & air vent plug etc. (c) silencer to meet MoEF/ CPCB noise emmission standards. (d) Rubber matting. Chequred of size 2m x 1m x 12mm thick (Make Jyoti or equivelent (ISI Marked) (e) Tool kit for maintenance of DG set NOTES FOR ITEM NO-1 (i) The DG Set shall be provided with an intergral acoustic enclosure to meet MoEF/CPCB norms of 75dBA @ 1 metre at 75 % load under free field conditions, CRCA sheet in munsel green shade, structural base frame in black paint, insulation material PU foam complying IS 8183, fuel filling arrangement inside the enclosure, 11 tank pretreatment process and UV resistent powder coating of all parts to withstand extreme environment, air inlet louvers and shall comply the revised noise limit for DG set vide GSR 371 (E) dated 17 May 2002 and its amendments under Environment (Protection) act 1996 issued by the Min of Envronment and Forests. (ii) The contractor shall produce a copy of approved certificate to authanticate the above from the OEM/OEA Notes:- (i) Load test will be carried out after installation in the presence of testing officer. (ii) The DG set shall be tested by the contractor in presence of the accepting officer's representative/ IEM & Engineer-in-charge without any extra cost and the quoted rates are deemed to be included for all these aspects. (iv) Payment of DG Set's will be made after satisfactory testing.

Excavation in trenches not exceeding 1.5m in deep for laying of pipe, cable, foundation of electric pole etc and getting out in hard soil, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Returning, filling in including spreading leveling watering and well ramming in layers not exc. 25 cm thick complete all as specified and directed.(Surplus soil if any shall not be removed but left over the trench), complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Removing surplus soil to a distance not exc. 50 M and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Sand cushioning with clean dry sand to cables with layer of sand 8cm before laying of cable and 15cm thick after laying of cable, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. Note : For payment purpose punned thickness of 18cm shall be measured against spread thickness of 23cm as mentioned in para 19.75 of SSR part-I.

Providing PCC cable cover class LV type-I of size 250x150x40mm laid in perpendicular to the cable abutting each other, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply and laying XLPE insulated screened PVC bedded galvanised steel strip armoured electric power cable heavy duty 1100 Volt grade with stranded aluminium conductor of size 240 Sq mm 3.5 core , complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6mm as earthing lead buried directly in ground vertically to a depth not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 Mtr below normal ground level connected to and including galvanised iron strip 32X6 mm as earthing lead by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts & washers etc made of GI and connected to earthing test point all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part I of 2009.00 & as specified or indicated and testing on completion including exaction/earth work in any type of strata PCC ( 1:3:6 ) type C1 earthing chamber, pre cast slab 50 mm thick in cement concrete ( 1: 2 : 4 ) type B 1 ( reinforced with welded steel wire fabric (XPM) weight not less than 4 Kg / Sqm), funnel with wire mesh, I watering pipe of 20 mm bore medium grade and lugs, including galvanised iron strip 32X6 mm with GI protection pipe of 40 mm medium grade 7.5 meter long, etc, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge.

Supply installing, testing and commissioning of LT Panel outdoor kiosk type factory made of angle iron 65mmx 65mmx 6mm on all side welded to 3.15 mm thick CRCA sheet steel with openable shutteron both sides ( front and rear) having locking arrangement totally enclosed weather proof outdoor spray painted internally and externally with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of primer suitable for 440 volts, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 C/S, copper bus bar of capacity 400 Amps AC supply, electrically connected as per norms and fitted with following accessories, complete all as specified and as directed by Engineer-in-charge. (i) Indicator Lamp-01 Set (Set of three) (ii) On Load Change over switch 415 volts, 4 pole, 400 Amp -01 Nos (iii) MCCB, 415V, 4 pole, 400 Amps, 36 KA 02 Nos (01 No as stand by) (iv) Outgoing, MCCB 4 pole 250 amp, 415V, 36 KA, 4 pole , 02 Nos (v) Outgoing, MCCB 4 pole 125 amp, 415V, 25 KA, 4 pole , 02 Nos (vi) Digital Voltmeter 0-500 V and Digital Ampmeter 100/5 A.with selector switich Make-Legrand (vii) Complete wiring with copper cable, thimble etc. (Note:- LT panel shall be mounted on PCC 1:2:4 type B-1 with 20 mm graded stone aggregate foundation block of suitable size upto 40 cm above ground level as directed. The cost of the PCC block shall be deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted for the item & width of the panel not less than 75 cm)
