Supply and providing 8mm dia wire rope as per IS 2266-2002 Specification including 1 connecting the joints with lead soldering and also providing screw coupling at the appropriate location and commissioning the lifting barrier gate for normal working. The work includes cost of wire, all consumables, labourers, lead and lift etc. Complte as directed by the Engineer in charge of the work Per Level

Renewal of damaged Turn out wheel by removing bolts & nuts, wire rope etc and re 4 fixing new turnout wheel under traffic condition, including replacing damaged bolts & nuts if any and commissioning including oiling greasing etc.( All materials, labour and consumables including turn out wheel should be supplied by contractor and released material to be handed over to nearest P.Way store) as directed by the Engineer in charge of the work. (Double turnout wheel).

(Single turnout wheel)

Supply of lifting barriers upto 8.50m long similar to Railway drawings along with pedestal, meeting post, guy arm, bell and light arrangements, balancing and auxiliary weight, pole lock, trunnion bracket with clamp, drum, and frills and fixing (after removing the exg. lifting barriers from the pedestal duly removing wire rope, bolts, etc.) over CC foundation with required bolts, 6 erection of boom, providing fringes, turnout wheel, wherever required to be correct alignment and level and fixing of counterweight etc., providing and fixing temporary pad locking arrangements with MS rods shouldering of wire rope joints, complete as directed by the Engineer in charge including supply and fixing of and turnbuckles etc. All materials, labour, tools and plants, machinery, fuels, and consumables by the contractor (70% payment after erection and balance 30 % after commissioning of the lifting barriers)

Renewal of worn-out LB winches duly dismantling the existing one from winch platform 7 by removing bolts & nuts, wire rope etc. and replacing damaged bolt and nut, etc. if any and fixing new winch supplied by the Contractor and commissioning under traffic conditions including oiling, greasing, etc. (all materials, labour and consumables should be supplied by Contractor and released material to be handed over to nearest P.Way store) as directed by the Engineer in charge of the work

Providing winch locking arrangement in inter locked gates by removing the exg one, 8 from winch and fixing new locking arrangement with base plate by drilling necessary holes bolts, nuts etc and commissioning the same as directed by the Engineering charge of the work (All materials, labours, etc by the contractor)

Supplying, providing and maintaining the reflective tape 30 Cm width 9 Yellow/Red/Black, make- Kivilite- Japan or similar quality on the lifting barrier boom and ay other incidental works as instructed by the Engineer in charge during the maintenance period(All materials, laboures, etc by the contractor)

Providing Boom locking arrangement in inter locked gates by removing the existing 10 one from the meeting post and fixing new locking arrangement by drilling necessary holes bolts,nuts etc and commissioning the same as directed by the Engineering charge of the work (All materials, labours, etc by the contractor)

Supply, fixing and maintaining of mild steel parts such as Fringes, centre axle,drum axle, MS bolts etc under the necessary direction and supervision of the Engineer in charge (Released materials to be handed over to nearest P.way store)

Supplying and fixing cast Iron parts such as drum wheel, Counter weight, drum axle 12 bracket trunnion U clamp etc as an when necessary under the direction and supervision of the Engineer in charge (Released materials to be handed over to nearest P.way store)

Supplying and fixing mild steel, Turn buckles or wire Ropes as an when necessary under the direction and supervision of the Engineer in charge (Released materials to be handed over to nearest P.way store)

Erecting Emergency Chain Posts for level crossings , including cutting rail to required length varying from 1.00M to 1.50M , drilling holes, providing hooks & links / rings with necessary locking arrangements to fix emergency chain, leading the rail pieces from nominated station / mid 1 section from nearest depot to site of work, erecting the rail post by making the pit of size as required and filling with CC 1:3:6 mix with 40mm aggregates and painting the rail post with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour and make, with contractor's materials, labour, paint, all lead and lifts, etc., complete as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-charge. Note: (1) Rails & chain will be supplied by Railways. (2) Excavation and concrete work for foundation will be paid under relevant item.
