(L) Engine shall be designed keeping in consideration of de-rating factor for 1800 meters altitute.
(M) Canopy and engine shall be of same make (N) Installation, testing and commissioning of Gen Set shall be done in presence of maufacturer's Engineer and not by any authorised person / rep/sister concern etc (O) DG Set to be tested for 12 Hrs contineously on full load (Rated load) including 1 Hr at 110% load. All testing materials and fuel to be provided by the contractor.
(P) Complete unit/set shall be equipped with all standard fitting as per manufacture recommendations and mounted on common base frame with following fitting and rates shall be deemed to be inclusive of the same:-
(a) Fly wheel with bousing (b) Cooling system : Mounted radioter with fan and belt (c) Cooling water pump : Centrifucal type belt driven (d) Exhaust gas (i) turbo charger type (ii) Exhaust mainfold (e) Silencer : (i) Residential type, (ii) Bellows (f) Fuel System: Fuel injection system with fuel injectors fuel injection solenoid switch/ nozzle/ governer electronic type capable for 1% speed/ frequency reglation, fuel filters, fuel hoses (g) Lub oil System: (i) Lubricating oil filter (ii) Lubricating pump (h) Air intake System :(i) Air intake Manifold (ii) Air cleaner dry type (j) Governer : Electronic Governer with actuator (k) Starting System : Electric Self starter with maintenance free batteries including battery charging alternator (l) Batteries : maintenenace free batteries of 12 Volt /24 volt as per manufacturer direction complete with copper conductor multistranded lead of suitable length from self starter to the battery terminals complete with initial charge and initial fill of electronic all as specified. (n) Generator Monitoring Panel : Comprising of following:- (i) Microprocessor based genset controller for metering, monitoring, governing and protection (ii) Engine protection for low oil pressure, high coolent temperature (alarm & shut down) (iii) Alternator protection parameter like under voltage, over current, under frequency, over frequency, (alarm & shutdown) (iv) Relay drivers for remote annuciations (v) Cyclic cranking (vi) Auto/manual strat/stop (vii) Operator within a temperatur ( range (-20 to 60 degree C) and humidity upto 95% (viii) Remote monitoring capacity throught separate interface moudules (o) Genset metering parameters like lube oil pressure, coolent temperature, engine speed (RPM), run hours, DC voltage, intake manifold temperature, 3 phase volts and 3 phase amperes, frequency, KW, KVA, power factor. (s) daily service fuel tank of suitable capacity as per manufacturer's instruction of having min fuel storing cap of 12 hours for running DG set including fuel oil indicating gauge drain and vent plug etc complete on a common base within the acoustic enclosure. Notes : 1. Capacity of alternator at 1800 meters altitude - 125 KVA, AC 3 Phase, 415 volts, 50 Hz and as recommended by the manufacturer for above size motor. 2. Place of installation - at 31 Sub Area. 3. PCC platform 1:2:4 600mm thick using 40mm graded stone aggregate to suit base fram size 45 cms below & 15 cms above ground level. Grounting 08 bolts of 600mmx 30mm and fixing the engine and alternator with base frame of the platform. PCC shall be measured & paid separately. 4. Engine and alternator shall be assembled on common steel frame by the manufacturer itself and not by rep/ authorised agent / sister concern etc. 5. Existing incomming connections are to be re-arranged as directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Single core copper cables shall be used for connections from bus bar to MCCBs/MCBs/instuments and fix ON LOAD change over switch 415V in sheet metal enclosures 4 pole of capacity 160 Amps Size of cables - Incoming MCCB to bus bar - 150 sqmm, bus bar to out going MCCBS - 95 sqmm, bus bar to MCBs and MCBs to contact blocks 10 sqmm and 1 sqmm for other applications. Following shall deemed to be included in the cost of panel:- Note: Panel drawing should be approved by Garrison Engineer.
