Complete removal of existing treatment including fascias, cornices etc by scrapping with mechanical wall sander (having mechanical vacuum mechanism) having RPM not less than 1500, sanding pad of 80 Grit having dia of 7"/9" to make the surface free from dust, loose paint and loose plaster to be completely removed by skilled labour and repair of external wall/Chajjas to be done with repair mortar to get even surface including preparation of old surface of wall/ceiling by filling cracks by Berger Bison Putty / crack fill paste of Berger Paints or equivalent make and make good smoothen surface by sand paper and applying two coats of premium acrylic smooth exterior emulsion of approved colour with silicon additive & Color stay Technology ,Excellent Dirt Pick up resistance of Berger Paints Ltd or equivalent of other approved make with low VOC less than 50 gram/ litre as per the LEEDS specifications, Anti Algal properties in two coats @ 1.79 ltr (undiluted)/ 10 sqm diluted with water as per manufacturer instructions applied over one coat of acrylic water based exterior grade primer @ 0.9ltr(undiluted)/10 sq mtrs diluted with water in 1:1ratio as per manufacture's instruction and all coats incl primer to be applied with fully automatic airless spray machine of paint application with a flow speed of minimum 1 ltr per minute having a pressure of 3300 PSI complete all as specified and as directed Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in subsequent coats of paint and including necessary scaffolding at any height complete all as specified and directed. Allow 6-8 hrs to dry the surface in subsequent coats of paint complete all as specified and as directed. Note : - Applicable to Srl items 01 and 02 here-in-before :- (a) The work pertaining to smart periodical servcies shall be executed from authorized applicator approved by manufacturer of which the materials i.e exterior emulsion paint, primer, putty etc is proposed to be used by the contractor as approved by Garrison Engineer. (b) The contractor shall upload along with the documents under cover-I, 'Memorandum of Understanding' (MOU) with any one of the original paint manufacturer mentioned in the contract, their authorised applicator and the bidder failing which the bid shall be liable to be rejected. (c). 50% of materials (mentioned at Srl Note (a) above) to be used in work shall be purchase by Contractor from original paint manufacturer or their authorized distributor before start of work and will be kept at site in department store under the supervision of Engr-In-Charge under lock and key with such mechanism that none of the party can withdraw materials from store without knowledge of other party. Daily consumption of materials shall be monitred in a register duly signed by contractor and Engr-In-Charge. Balance 50% of materials shall be procured after 50% progress of work. (d) Material will only be acceptable at sitewhen purchased from original paint manufacture or, company authorized dealer and shall be delivered at site only by company vehicle. (e) All bills submitted to department by the contractor towards materias procured by him shall be got verified by Engr-In-Charge from original paint Manufacturer before progressing RAR payment towards work done by contractor. (f) The Original paint Manufacturer from whom materials are procured by contractor shall regularly check workmanship and quality of work at an interval of every 30 days and give their feed back to department accordingly.
