The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in executing all major items of works under the proposed contract, with a minimum of one contract of highway or airport runway work with a value of at least 40% of the proposed contract value, and substantially completed to at least 90%. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover in any one year, over the last five years, of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. For works costing up to 7.5 crore for Road Works and 7.0 crore for Building and Bridge Works, the bidder should refer to specific guidelines. The bidder should submit "Work Experience, if necessary", and provide information on the quantities of work executed as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor in the past five years.
