The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having experience in successfully completing or substantially completing at least one contract of similar work of at least 40 percent of the value of the proposed contract within the last five years. The value of the similar work should be at least Rs. 234.63Lacs. Substantially completed works mean those works which are at least 90 % completed as on the date of submission. For similar works, the bidder should have completed at least 80% or more of the original contract price and should be continuing satisfactorily. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature over the last five years, with specific quantities of work executed. The bidder should also have a minimum annual financial turnover, defined as billing for works in progress and completed in all classes of civil engineering construction works only, in any one year, over the last five years of the annual value of contract/contracts applied for. The bidder needs to have completed similar works, with a value equivalent to the annual value of contract/contracts applied for, in any one year, over the last five years.
