M&L for brick work with old size Fly Ash bricks, straight or curved on plan exc 6.00 metre mean radius, built in cement mortar 1:4 complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for rendering 10 mm thick in cement mortar 1:6 on fair faces of brick work or concrete surfaces, finished fair & even complete all as specified and as directed.

M&L for preparation of newly plastered / unplastered surfaces of walls & applying three coats of white wash complete all as specified.

M&L for cutting of existing PCC floor / hardstanding / Interlocking tiles path / WBM road with soling & premix carpet of any description for removing / laying UG Cables/ pipe line, depth of cutting not exceeding 120cm and width 45cm and filling the trench of road i.e. excluding top 20cm with existing aggregate obtained from cutting, watered and properly rammed to satisfaction of EIC and finally provide with & including 20 cm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 using 20 mm graded crushed stone aggregate to entire width of trench & finally match the top surface to road & disposal of debris to a distance not exceeding 250 metre and depositing where directed including re-setting of interlocking tiles/ Paver block (where required) complete all as directed.

Excavating in trenches, not exc 1.5 metre wide and not exc 1.5 metre in depth, for foundation, etc. or for shafts, wells, cesspits, manholes, pier holes, etc. laying cables, pipes, etc. not exc 10 Sqm on plan & not exc 1.5m in depth and getting out in soft/ loose soil complete all as specified and as directed.

All as per serial item No 8 here-in-above but depth exc 1.5 m and not exc 3.0 m -do-

Returning, filling in trenches, including spreading, leveling, watering and well ramming in layers not exceeding 25 cm thick in soil complete all as specified and directed.

Removing excavated surplus soil to a distance not exceeding 50 mts and depositing where directed at a level not exceeding 1.5 M above the starting point complete all as directed.

Taking up or down old rusted/ worn out GI tubing & connections of 15 mm bore fixed in any position and S&F new 15 mm bore galvanized steel water tubing medium grade (ISI Marked) with & including all necessary fittings (ISI Marked) such as bend, tee, elbow, etc laid in trenches/ floors or fixed on wall and ceiling complete all as specified and as directed. Note : Excavation & earthwork shall be measured & paid for separately.

S&F 50 mm bore butterfly valve cast iron body (wafer type), class PN 1.6, ISI marked, single eccentric, double flanged short body type with all fittings, nuts, bolts and washers and necessary rubber gaskets etc., including taking down old butterfly valve compete all as specified and as directed.

S&F MS fittings suitable for 80mm to 200mm bore pipes such as bends, tappers, etc any type and angle and straight connected pieces any type joint all flange ends including necessary cutting, welding, bending, drilling holes for bolts, in any shape or size as indicated or directed including necessary jointing materials such as nut, bolts, washers, packings and welding including testing for leakage etc to the entire satisfaction of Engineer-in-Charge with & including painting external surfaces with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved tint over a coat of zinc chromate primer including dismantling & taking out existing fittings of any description complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing Ductile Iron fittings, specials (K-12) such as bends, tapers, collars, reducers, tee pieces (single or double branch) any type, angle/radius and straight connecting pieces etc (ISI marked) conforming to IS-9523 for flanged/socket and spigot ends suitable for DI pipe upto 200 mm bore, fixed in repairs, complete all as specified and as directed.

Supply and fixing Cast iron fittings (ISI marked) upto 200 mm bore such as bends (any type, radius & angle), Tapers any type (straight, bend, increasing, decreasing or double socket etc), Tee pieces, single branch, “Y” junction, double branch, cross (all sockets or socket & spigot), collars, caps & plugs suitable for spigot & socketed pipes, complete, fixed in repairs, all as specified & directed.

Attending day to day water supply complaints such as no water supply/ low water supply and water leakage from GI tubing/ UPVC (Sch 80) Pipes & fittings/fixtures of 15 mm to 25 mm bore by checking the nature of defects and rectification work to be carried out by replacing requisite materials, testing complete on completion of work, excavating in any type of soil, returning, filling and disposal of surplus soil if any as directed. Notes : (i) Material such as GI tubing/ UPVC (Sch 80) Pipes & fittings, valve, etc and excavation/ earth work required for rectification work shall be measured and paid under relevant items. (ii) Excavation & earth work required for rectification work shall be measured and paid under relevant items. (iii) Minor stores such as washers, taflon tape, small size nuts, bolts, clamps, etc shall be provided by the contractor and cost thereof shall be inclusive in quoted rates. The decision of Accepting Officer will be final and binding regarding extent to which the items can be considered as minor. (iv) Requisite T&P and transportation for tradesman to rectify the defects shall be contractor’s responsibility. (v) The contractor / his representative shall collect the complaint slip from MES complaint cell / concerned JE E/M every day at 9.00 AM and deposit the complaint slip duly signed by the users to concerned JE E/M after rectification of complaint.

M&L for construction of Valve pit chamber of size 1200x1200x1200mm internal dimension including necessary excavation & earth work in any type of soil, PCC 1:4:8 type D2 in foundation, brick work with old size fly ash bricks in CM 1:4, 15 mm thick plaster in CM 1:4 internally and externally flush pointed in same mortar as work proceeds, 75 mm thick PCC coping all round in PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20 mm graded stone aggregate), flooring shall be 40 mm thick PCC 1:2:4 type B1 (using 20mm graded stone aggregate laid over 75 mm thick hard core. Top cover shall be made out of MS sheet 3.00 mm thick fixed in angle iron frame made out of angle iron size 40x40x6 mm with two number of hinges on one side and locking arrangement at other side complete including painting with two coats of synthetic enamel paint over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer complete all as specified and directed including dismantling of old existing unserviceable vale pit chamber. Note : Any minor modification where required at site shall be deemed to be included in the quoted rates. The decision of GE shall be final and binding regarding extent to which the change can be considered as minor.
