Fault finding & identification using with OTDR 1310 nm and 1550, Power meter & HOPE testing of Fibers. End to end testing of fibres after jointing and submission of report. In case of unacceptable dB loss at repair joint, same needs to be rectified with-out any additional cost implication to GSPL. Final end to end OTDR test shall be carried-out for all 24 Fibres & submit the report without any additional cost implication to GSPL. Rate is inclusive of charges for manpower, instruments, transportation used during this activity. Note: OTDR for fault finding from station, OFC fault finding in ROU through Survey as per tentative location & pipeline route given by GSPL, OTDR from cut location on either side for checking fiber health & final testing from both end after rectification shall be considered as one visit only. Remarks: OTDR in 2 to 4 fiber for fault finding, OTDR in 24 fiber at cut location toward both the side, OTDR from both the end after fault rectification.

OFC 24/48 core blowing/pulling/laying including laying of new PLB HDPE duct up to 50mm dia / 50mm to 100mm dia parallel to existing GSPL Gas Pipeline / HDPE duct through Trench excavation (Manual/ Machine i.e. Backhoe) / HDD / Manual boring as mention in scope of work including Site & pipeline route survey for identifing under / above ground utilities and permission (including all liaisoning) from owner of the that third party utilities, protection of that utilities, removal of vegetation, cleaning the water logged area by de-watering pump, trail pit excavation, GSPL pipeline locating & marking, Marking of new route for Trenching / HDD parallel to existing , HDPE Duct intergrity testing if the length of new duct 1000 mtr, OFC blowing and any other work if required are included in this activity other than trench excavation/HDD work & supply & laying of PLB HDPE duct. Note: 1. Separate charges shall not be paid for duct laying in trench / pulling through HDD, transportation, site survey, permission (including all liaisoning), pipeline & cable route locator, protection & compensation for third party utilities/ farmer crops, mobilizing the material & rectification team to site, manpower, consumables, equipments, tools & tackles used during execution of this activity .Bidders/contractor shall pay compensation & penalty to the third party if any & applicable other than statutory fees. 2. Seprate charges shall be paid for Trench & trial pit excavation / HDD work, New HDPE duct integrity testing if length of new duct 1000 mtr,. Trench excavation / HDD work rate is inclusive of charges for transportation,loading and unloading, cleaning the water logged area by de-watering pump, laying of new duct, excavation, backfilling, Mannpower, consumable, tools & tackels and equipment including earth excavator like Backhoe, JCB, De-watering pump. 3. In case of OFC cable supplied by GSPL at designated stores. OFC 24/48 core blowing/pulling/ Laying rate is inclusive of charges for transportation of cables from GSPL designated stores to the site, manpower, consumables, equipments, tools & tackles used during execution of this activity.
